$2 highball was very disappointing. Could barely taste the alcohol and when the ice melted, felt like I was just drinking soda water…

Ordered chicken liver also and it took forever to come, almost cancelled it. The indoors smelt heavily of oil as they have an open kitchen. Would advise to check their menu on their ig before going, they stopped serving yakitori recently..

Came with a light sesame sort of dressing but pity that it was pricey and a little overcooked.

Deconstructed negitoro roll that we had fun DIY-ing. Each of these portion gets you 2 pieces of crisp seaweed and 2 portions of rice and nicely seasoned negitoro. The portion of each roll was huge, hence would have been nice to have more seaweed to make more rolls heh.

The curry is done with pork jowl chunks and carrots. I’m less a fan of the pork used as they were much more fatty. Curry had a good thickness and leaned more sweet. Personally would have loved a little more distinct heat in it, but was a very hearty bowl nonetheless.

Thought they did these so well! The livers were thinly battered and fried just right - so you get that buttery texture in the middle, in contrast to its crisp exterior. Served with kimchi aioli on the side, it’s a good side to go with drinks.

Pretty standard quality gyozas, these were less memorable in comparison to the other dishes we tried. Like the fried chicken liver, this also came with kimchi aioli on the side to pair.
