Meat tastes great though the portion is a little bit small. Comes with minimum order of 10pcs though not indicated on the menu. Generous amount of peanut sauce, we even had some leftover which is rare.
Satay beehoon @ $5
You know it's a good plate of satay beehoon when it's so full of the gravy that you can't see what's underneath.
And underneath is a good amount of beehoon and ingredients. Comes with sliced meat, veggie, beansprouts, taupok, cuttlefish and cockles. Everything is great except for the cockles.
Rather thin and slightly dry actually. I presume it's because they can't really recreate their usual flavours at the booth. The pineapple in the satay might be interesting if not for it being rather ubiquitous nowadays so it's hard to say who started it.

These were one of the better satay that I had ever tried so far. Some stalls seem to be missing out on the fatty bits, while some seemed to leave it a little bit too long on the grill that it gets a wee bit stiff though still succulent. The ones from this stall seemed to be a good balance of both worlds; the marinade was more veering towards sweet but still maintained smokiness, yet maintaining the meat's juiciness and each stick was just succulent with ample amount of fatty meat to chew on. Definitely one that I will go for again the next time I am in Chinatown Complex Market.
