Their pesto sauce was v unique, the herbs are quite mild but it's v thick and almost sticky. Gets jelat tho so do share it. Their Parm is also v good and just like their pineapple sauce, they do something to it that I've never had before

U see for this price it's really quite reasonable for the thickness of the meat. It's not ridiculously tender tbh, but the smokiness is good. It's quite different from the norm so you can't say it's the best or what, but it's a solid option for sure.

The reservation difficulty is due to the small dining area, not rlly cos they're damn frigging good. However if u walk in before 12 on weekdays u don't need a reservation at all(what the jovial and chatty owner told me)

Very, very fatty. 70% fats and not charred, to enjoy the melt in your mouth texture. Alternate w the lean meat else it's too fatty. The special salt rlly brings out the sweetness of the iberico pork tho

Their peanut sauce is rlly incredibly good. It's somewhat mild but that just allows you to dip a lot. The pineapple puree is so refreshing and has no bite, and the peanut sauce itself is complex. They may not have the best satay imo, but their peanut sauce is defo the best I've tried by far

Tbh you can order less than 10 when you dine in

The ckn has a bite, it's fine and the chimmichurri sauce is interesting. It's lightly herbal w a palpable tang.

It's pretty good overall but not worth climbing up the hill(from the outram side)

Possibly the only place one could find such rendition of the chicken satay, drizzled with some olive oil (?) and chimichurri! Chicken bits were succulent and so tender, with a mix of char aroma and yet tanginess from the chimichurri. For those who prefer the good-ol traditional chicken satay, this may not be for you in huge portions but still worth the try. At $0.90/stick, why not? & also not forgetting the waiting list is ~6months! (As of the time of this post!)
