Enjoy dining without burning a hole in your pocket, no membership required
Michelin Star; Anago premium set (2,750yen). The softest anago that I have ever tasted. The bone visible but yet so soft that it's not noticeable at all. Have it with their eel broth (200yen) and you can have it another style; porridge. Light, but so flavourful, it's worth every yen and good calories. On the table, they have premium "numbing powder" that's very fragrant, and meant to sprinkle over the Anago. The result? A very numb tongue. You may or may not like it, but according to my Friend it adds a good punch in the mouth.
Note; the original store stated above was closed at the time I got there (cause it's new year eve, and everyone closed early to head to the temple to pray). So I went to the branch at Ginza.
PPS; they even paid for my cab fare to get there. What a good service.
