Was j walk-in around painting the city red w a certain someone on cny eve trying to find a place that’s open to eat 🎊🧧.

After around 18k++ steps (😫) we decided to settle upon this cute lil burger bar tucked in the side of a building, along the road.

Wasn’t that hungry so I ordered the only chickin burgir option on the menu (Buttermilk Crispy Chicken - $16 w/o service charge etc etc).

I was served a burger with a soft fluffy bun, crispy and juicy fried chicken πŸ“, and a mayo-e, tang-e sauce on top of it. It came with a side of pickles, onions and tomatoes that u could choose to put in the burger.

Overall, it was a nice burger. Nothing else to say. πŸ‘

p.s: the staff were really nice (cracking jokes and all), and the vibe of the place was really chill :). Consider buying burger number 2 if you’re into beef and burrata, i was told it’s unique and yummy πŸ˜‹.

Looking at the long queues at this burger joint, many seem to love their food here. However we do think otherwise for most of the food items we had.

The Number One ($14), which consists of a really thick fluffy bun, a variety of cheeses, bacon and a beef patty was indeed a pretty good burger. The beef patty was thick, juicy and flavourful and the cheese was melty and had a strong savoury flavour. However, I felt like the bun is really too thick, and I preferred if it was grilled more. Fries ($5) were good, though nothing too much to shout about. They gave a generous amount though!

The Number Four ($14) was some yellowfin tuna patty which sadly was dry. Felt like the spicy sauce didn't complement the fish patty too. Sad this was disappointing.

We had chocolate and strawberry milkshakes ($10 each) too, and they were nothing much to shout out about too.

I think the beef burgers may be a "can try", but perhaps there are better places.

Go for 25 degrees (the best burger in town we said!)
The set comes with curly fries & ginger ale
πŸ‘ My pal go for Number 1 Burger (the classic) $15 juicy! (Not pictured here) normally i won't rave much as too many choices here when it comes to burgers but for this one, worth checking it out! πŸ‘πŸ˜‰

Here's a piece of extremely obvious advice but it needs to be said: never, NEVER dabao a fried chicken burger. You wanna know why? The chicken will become SOGGY. Soggier than a wet sponge on a humid SG afternoon, because the condensation and the moisture of the other ingredients will turn your luscious, delightfully crispy chicken into a wet and flaccid piece of meat that can't be revived in the oven. Trust me, I've tried. Bottom line is, if you're gonna have this burger, have it fresh at the restaurant or you'll be knocking at least 15 tasty points off your gastronomic experience.

This burger consists of a piece of buttermilk fried chicken, gherkins, sriracha mayonnaise, lettuce and fresh tomatoes. Taste-wise I feel like only the fried chicken stands out (aside from the unfortunate soggy-ness) as it's really thick, juicy and bursting with salty and spicy flavours. The other elements are pretty standard and in all honesty you could probably get a cheaper fried chicken burger elsewhere with the same taste profile.

⭐ Rating: 8.7/10 soggy chicks
πŸ€‘ worth the price: at 1 for 1 price, yes
πŸ¦– would I buy again: yes but only if it's eaten at the restaurant and not dabaoed
πŸ’ would I marry: yerr

Burgers lover should head down here to try the various burgers here! The meat patty is flavourful and yet not too jelat. The overall combination of the sauces, cheese and meat made this burger a wonderful eating experience!πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
