a cute, small, and slightly hidden cafe in the holland village area! really worth it with 1 for 1, as we paid $4.50 for 2 single scoops (earl grey and houjicha, would recommend!)

a bit miffed that half of the ice cream flavours were premium flavours though (+$1).

1-for-1 with #burpplebeyond!

Opened last November, it is not difficult to spot 2nd serving located in Holland Village with its striking red vending machine door and a pastel pink interior. Funky-looking, though unfortunately it has limited seating and no one/system to man the queue outside for diners waiting for seats. We were lucky to have gotten the bar counter seats after 15 mins.

Many have reviewed about their uncommon flavors such as tau sar piah and kueh Bangkit, but they are also known for their tea-infused flavors. Noting the availability of tie guan yin and pu er, I asked for the difference and recommendation, and was told that Pu Er would be slightly more bitter. More so of a personal liking, I enjoyed the slight astringency of the Pu Er infused gelato as it wasn’t overly sweet, yet not compromising the tea aroma at the same time. It also complimented the sweeter cookie dough flavor that we had.

If you are a fan of Mochi or Mochi waffle, then you should really try their seasonal fudgy Mochi waffle before it goes off the menu after July! Although it wasn’t presented as aesthetically impressive that we thought it would be, its taste exceeded expectations surprisingly. It was dense, filled with chocolate chips and warm, stretchy Mochi. Even for someone like myself who don’t usually prefer Mochi, I enjoyed the Mochi waffle especially as the gelato melted to pair with the warm Mochi.

Thanks to #burpplebeyond, we enjoyed 2 single scoops at the price of 1! Do note that the additional charge for premium flavors are not entitled for the discount.

Unlike most ice cream parlor with their "mochi waffle", 2nd Serving's waffles does has mochi encased in their waffles batter with its Googy goodness in every bite.

The ice cream specially the banana honey roasted nuts is delicious with the flavours of banana and nuts perfectly balanced

2nd time here. I had pistachio & chocolate stout ice cream with normal waffle during my 1st time and it was pretty good. However, the chocolate mochi waffle that I have ordered this time was too sweet for my liking and it overpowered the gelatos ( Pu er and cookie dough). Still prefer the normal waffle that complements better with the gelatos not so jelak

Its a really nice ice cream cafe located near buona vista (5-10 mins walk from the MRT station).
They have a really cute vending machine door too 🤣
Tried their seasonal fudgy mochi waffle, which is surprisingly really good - with a well balance of chocolate and mochi!! Love the crispy yet soft texture!
Their 56% dark chocolate sorbet and lychee sorbet were really good too 😋
Will definitely be back again to try other flavours and also their beverages!

First time trying the Fudgey Mochi Waffle with 2 scoops of ice cream - Salted caramel cheese and 56% choco.

Definitely yums and definitely coming back again for their mochi waffles and ice cream.
