Fresh crabs with beehoon steeped in Long Ji's flavourful stock, packed with the taste of pork lard. And thanks to @jennytanwrites and #wolfblasswines, we tried several wines that could go well with our local dishes. Turns out, Wolf Blass' chardonnay was perfect for this dish. The acidity cuts through the richness of the broth, while the creaminess of the wine matches the creaminess of the crab perfectly. In fact, their Shiraz works well too even though it's a red wine. That's cos Long Ji's broth is also deep in porky flavour.

This crab costs $88. Best crab beehoon I’ve had. The soup is flavourful and full of wok hei, crab is very meaty! Must try at this zi char place! Do call in to make your booking!

My fav traditional fried chicken! Fried with prawn and belacan seasoning.. yums! One of the better ones around.

Really huge crab. 1.3kg. The broth is savory that enhance the taste of the bee hoon. Add chili padi and it’s shiok to the max!

This brings the salted egg yolk experience to a whole new level 🤤 And they definitely nailed their horfun with the right wokhei too!

Needless to say much about this pot. The gravy itself will be enough to make you swallowed down a full bowl of rice. If not cutting down on carbo, I won't mind another bowl 😆
Love the beancurd strips soaked in the gravy and all the veg. Fish head dosen't have the fishy smell too. For $26 (or $28) I think it's worth it!
