This petite bowl of laksa at $2.80 is perfect for me with just a mild level of spiciness since I’ve got a low tolerance towards spicy food; and the small portion is great if you are feeling not that hungry but still feel like eating something, before dinner time.

Hardly we can find a $2.50 bowl of Laksa nowadays. 63 Laksa broth doesn't has a rich coconut flavour but more with the dry shrimp taste which is quite flavourful and easy to drink

The laksa ($2.50) is served in a traditional looking porcelain bowl together with a porcelain spoon. Although not a very big bowl, it is filled to the brim with shortened thick bee hoon, uniformly sliced fish cake, bean sprouts and cockles.

Some laksa hawkers tend to add cockles into the bowl without much thought which would often sink to the bottom and became overcooked.

To me, having such rubbery shellfish is a waste of calories thus I really appreciate how this stall took the trouble to make sure their cockles stayed on top.
