Sorry for the bad photos, but this Korean BBQ place is really on quite another level. The spicy chicken thigh ($22 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond) , although not a huge portion, but was really tender and flavourful, with the smoky char from the grill. The pork belly kimchi stew ($18 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond) was pretty good as well, especially their pork belly slices, which they are known for. The pork belly slices really taste a notch above the rest, and I will be back for it some day. Maybe the downside is that I had to pay $5 for the ramen add-on 😥 but the best part is that the staff service is excellent and they will cook all meats for you 😍

We decided to try their signature dish (which was not included in the Beyond deal), the 4 Colours Set. Food was good, quite pricey though - probably suited for those that want a good quality Korean BBQ place. I may come back but I’d use the Beyond deal next time.

We initially made a reservation on Facebook but when we went there, for some reason they didn’t note it down (?) so we almost couldn’t get a seat, had to stand outside for a bit while they settled their stuff. Otherwise service was fine.

$20++ (iirc). This was a much larger portion than we anticipated (good for sharing!) and we loved the mix of the kimchi and cheese taste. Also was very filling. We got this to go with our meat (to use the burpple deal) - more than enough food.

The army stew goes well with the Korean BBQ and it comes with 1 time soup refill. For bbq, I ordered the spicy chicken thigh and the portion is actually quite small considering the price.

They also give a few free flow appetisers that are complimentary.

Overall, quite a decent Korean bbq place but do note that there is a limit of 90 mins dining time.

Total damage:
Army stew: $24
Spicy chicken thigh: $22

Flavours of the day (bottom to top): Wine, Herb, Miso Paste, Red Pepper Paste

Flavours are ranked from the lightest to the heaviest tasting. Comes with a stew (+$6 for Army Stew), bean sprouts, kimchi, lettuce for wrapping and a variety of side dishes. My personal favourite flavour out of my 4 choices was Miso Paste. Will be back for the other 4 flavours!

I had to use flash to get a shot of this because otherwise all you’d see is a messy blur that’ll make you wonder if it were a pizza or a pasta instead of a Korean pancake. Might have gotten some unhappy stares from flashing half the restaurant but I HAD to tAke a picture of this glorious pancake. Outrageously crispy and decently sized and not too starchy or doughy, this probably may be one of my top few favourite Korean pancakes in singapore. The food in general here is great too but the prices are not friendly at all. We got the army stew as well and wanted to top up and get more ramen but it’s a whopping $5 for extra ramen. You’re charging me the price of a plate of Hokkien mee for some extra instant noodles? No thank you fam. But the food here is good enough for me to warrant another visit back. Will just need to scrimp and save a bit more for now.
