THIS IS AMAZING. The combination of the savoury bulgogi and sweet sauce was chef’s kiss. The crust of the pizza was just right, crisp but not hard.

Head to Korean-fusion gastro bar, Tigress by 82Soho to indulge in their delicious mains! Try their rendition of the Classic Cheeseburger which comes with a signature Wagyu-fat infused beef patty, red cheddar, and BBQ mayo. Talk about a juicy burger.

It is a Korean-Western fusion pizza that is relatively uncommon to find now, so Tigress will be the place to go to for such dining experiences. We also added the Vegetarian Butcher ($23), a burger made with a vegetarian patty that is paired with sun-dried tomatoes and a pesto sauce that gives it a nice nutty flavour. The burger comes in a hearty portion with fries and an additional side that you can choose from.

Tigress Gastro Bar & Pool is a destination for great Western food with bold Korean flavours to go alongside a host of tipples while you indulge in a friendly game of billiards, all in a single location. Food wise, Tigress’ pre-opening menu features a range of wagyu-fat infused beef burgers, tapas, cheese platters, sides, and a host of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. In time to come, the full menu will include more burgers, pizza, steak, and small bites. What we had that evening include The Tigress ($34), a humongous burger of Australian wagyu with the accompanying parma ham, blue cheese, tomato, caramelized onion, pickles and house sauce sandwiched between buns, and each burger order comes with French fries and a choice of an additional side that you can choose from such as homemade kimchi, mac & cheese or onion rings.

If you are there with a group, it will be ideal to order several plates of tapas to share such as the Burrata & Truffle Mushroom ($16), a comforting dish of French burrata with wild mushroom and that additional indulgencing touch of shaved black truffle, and Grilled Octopus ($18) with chives, chorizo potatoes and sun-dried tomatoes.

Being in a gastrobar, you definitely have to give their beverages a try and we got one of their urban cocktails, the White Tigress ($18) which is concocted with a blend of coconut and citrus over a vodka base and the tamer Berries Bliss Milkshake ($12) which comes topped with a medley of berries and marshmallows. I cannot wait for the full menu to be out, especially with a lineup of pizzas.
