Worth the wait and the fluffy almost eggy-like pancake served warm on cast iron pans. Slices of bananas, blueberry and cream drizzled with chocolate sauce. Too bad the vanilla ice cream melted too quickly due to the heat emitting form the pan. Great for 2 pax!
Filling breakfast set that consists of sour sweet grilled tomato, smooth and creamy marsh, salad with dressing, crispy focaccia bread and best of all was the frittata. Fluffy EGGY goodness with chicken bits and the truffle bits on top.
Tried the 2 top popular choice which is the mango pomelo with sago as well as the creamy durian with pulp! Both were soothing with icy bits, not the smoothest but decent and refreshing. Having desserts with a view, of the streets? At least it was a peaceful street 😂
An ordinary looking chocolate bread cube that contained liquid chocolate within. The amount of chocolate sauce was generous, slightly bitter, and rich. I expected it to be thick and gooey but turned out watery instead. Ambience wise was peaceful and simple.
I tried all 6 chocolate based cupcakes since I am a chocolate lover. The name Valrhona already suggests quality and I definitely want them in my tummy. My favourite was the pure chocolate coating and not the nutty one.
Enjoying my Truffle chocolate cake and watching the poor moo moo 🐮 getting drench by the slight drizzle at marche. The cocoa powder was a bit choking, dense chocolate sponge with a bit of berry jam. It was nice eating it chilled but the chocolate was too sweet for me since I prefer the bitter kind.
The mere sight of chocolate origin's cake really intrigued me. First question I would naturally ask would be how does the cross section looked like? This perfect looking with a layer of 'matt-choco' finishing glaze made me want to feel its smooth texture by tongue. I finally bought the 6 inch original cake to try.
Finally the revelation - Sponge, mousse, sponge, mousse and covered with a lovely coating of chocolate! The mousse was definitely rich, chocolatey and slightly cloying. I suggest you go with ice cream (like what I did) to reduce the cloying feeling. It was so filling but addictive!
