Ordered a non-spicy Sesame Oil Chicken(small: $5.50) to balance out the Kang Kong($5.50), which was the purrrrrrfect combination in my opinion!

Gave their second outlet @ Punggol Oasis Terraces a try and I think it was as good as their original outlet’s🔥

Fresh berries, homemade strawberry jam, passionfruit coulis, meringue, whipped cream & chia and sunflower seeds on pancakes = yummm 😋

Pancakes were done really well, and the size was perfect for a not-too-heavy brunch. Sourness of the berries and jam went wonderfully with the sweetness of the meringue and cream.

Grilled unagi that’s a little crispy in the outside, yet soft inside. There’s a few ways to eat it, by itself or with the soup. Complete with the experience of seeing the chef kill and grill the eel alive. only thing is to battle the long queues during dinner.

Known for its ice cream and waffles, this Burpple Hot 100 favourite is completely deserving of its place in our list. Their freshly churned ice cream is consistently good, and we like how they often introduce seasonal flavours to keep things fresh. They have several knockout flavours on their regular menu, with Roasted Pistachio ($4.50) and Earl Grey Lavender ($3.50) topping the list of the Burpple community's favourites. Ice cream here starts from $3.50 a scoop, with premium flavours going at $4.50 a scoop. If it's available, don't hesitate to have a scoop of the Peanut Butter and Jelly ($4.50), which hits the perfect balance of sweet and savoury. Consider getting their fluffy Waffle ($9 with a scoop of ice cream), which soaks up the ice cream perfectly while remaining crisp around the edges. Pro tip: They are opening a new outlet in Tiong Bahru in the fourth quarter of the year — we can't wait!

From the same pastry chef behind Flor Patisserie comes this humble Japanese-French pastry shop that sells elegant treats to-go in Tanjong Pagar Plaza. Be sure to try the Mille Feuille ($6.80) where layers of puff pastry, fresh cream and raspberry jam are topped with fresh strawberries. For a unique creation, the Luna Wrap ($6) sees lightly whipped flavoured cream (mango, chocolate or blueberry) cradled in a pancake.

Jot this quaint heartland cafe down for quick sugary pick-me-ups in the north. Come for their Passionfruit Meringue Tart ($4.80) that sees a buttery crust filled with smooth citrusy passionfruit cream and Italian meringue flowers. Also good is the more classic Lemon Meringue Tart ($4.50). For something sweet and refreshing, order their Fresh Fruit Tart ($4.60). These tarts are even better when paired with a piping hot cup of Gryphon English Breakfast Tea ($4) and a good read or a quiet conversation.

Chef Kenny from Arbora has a knack for adding something unusual and unexpected to his recipe. Instead of mint jelly as a sauce for the lamb, he uses prune juice mixed with bell pepper and lemon.

You get a towering stack of three 4cm thick fluffy souffle pancakes, served along with housemade whipped cream and gram’s original butter.

Salmon with crispy seaweed as taco shells. This is one of their signature dishes on the menu and i can understand why. Goes by 2 pieces per serving, do eat 2 by yourself; too yummy to be sharing with someone else.
