I don't even like unagi, but this immaculate fillet is so impeccably caramelised that it's hard not to be won over by it. And even better is that fuwa-fuwa heap of scrambled eggs padding the eel from below – creamy, dreamy and just pure love.

Polenta is something I am more familiar with served as a side in a main course dish. More often than not, it's next to, or under a hunk of steak or grilled piece of fish. So this being so sweet didn't sit too well with me at first. But after a couple of more spoons, I found it palatable. Having said that, I wouldn't rush out and order this again because there are other items on the menu I'd rather have.
Fans of polenta will be pleased to know though that this dish also includes two poached eggs, portobello mushroom, grilled tomato and sourdough toast.

Yup, the ever creative chef and his team are going into the making of ice-cream. If this scoop of deeply aromatic, densely creamy Pandan flavour (topped with crushed and reconstructed Oreo cookies) is anything to go by, I reckon we should all be very, very excited.
My spoon is on standby.

Finally managed to snag a table after 30 minutes of waiting, and this heavenly creation didn't disappoint. The gula melaka soft-serve was too sweet after a couple of mouthfuls, but it did have that burnt caramel flavour that made it very fragrant. The pillowy waffles, crisp on the outside and comfortingly gooey inside, were just perfect, as were the chewy, half-melted cubes of toasted marshmallows.

Really good ham tempered with mild Brie and the piquant wasabi-like taste of horseradish.
