This would be perfect if they could tone down the sourness from the lime curd just a little, as we found it to be slightly overpowering the intense matcha. Still awesome 💚 (Swipe to see inside!)
We can now order impossibly delicious creations from award-winning food tech pioneer @impossible_foods that creates delicious meat made from plants!
.
🐮If you don’t already know, the ‘meat/beef’ is made primarily of soy protein, potato protein, coconut oil, and sunflower oil with heme, which gives explosion of flavours that result when meat is cooked. While it delivers all of the craveable depth of beef and is made for meat lovers, it also generates much lesser environmental impact than conventional ground beef from cows – 87% less water, 96% less land, 89% fewer GHG emissions, and 92% less aquatic pollutants.

Overall a very worthy dish that’s not surfeiting at all. Though big eaters might want to order this as a side to share as the portion might be a little small.

🤤Pork Chop w/ Wanton Guan Miao Noodles ($13.80)
Amazingly tender slab of pork chop & authentic wanton paired with flat wavy noodles made using the traditional Tainan method with history of more than a 100 years. The sun-drying process for the noodles creates a pleasantly chewy texture that goes well in soup or dry dishes. Hardly able to find this noodles at most other restaurants so this shall be my go-to place!

Psst. Visited this place after the disappointment at Shihlin Night Market - best decision made that week.
