Delicious bowl of Lor Mee ($4.80) serves with thick slices of pork belly that is braised to tender, 1 big piece of fried fish nuggets, slices of ngoh hiang, 1/2 braised egg and crispy flour bites, drenched with rich and flavourful gravy. This bowl is gorgeous

Yay, a decent Hokkien Mee stall opened around my hood recently.

This good plate of Hokkien Mee has a good mix of yellow noodles and beehoon, soak up with aromatic broth simmered over hours, stir-frying with egg, pork belly, prawns, squid, and fried pork lard, served with sambal chilli. It's not the wet version, but it's definitely flavourful and moist enough.

Seasonal 8-course omakase lunch menus at Unkai Sushi @unkaisushisg from $68.00++!

One of the most affordable omakase menu in town, the 8-courses comprise two delectable seasonal appetisers, followed by two kinds of seasonal sashimi to introduce you the best sweetness of the sea. A chawanmushi to warm you stomach followed by a gindara miso yaki of smooth black cod lightly seared with a touch of miso. Highlight is the three seasonal sushi, (hotate, chutoro and shiromi) and the mini chirashi don presenting a treasure trove of diced seafood on a bed of rice, served with miso soup. The meal is rounded up on a sweet note with ice cream dessert.
