Costs: $14.80+. Tastes like $15.00. Review: Presentation is definitely their strong game here. Fluffy bowl of rice topped up with fresh seafood that gives you a visual yum before even taking a bite. Taste wise I must say I'm not a fan of hot rice going with fresh seafood. The prawn was really fresh but the rest didn't have a sufficient marination to bring out the different flavours. Still an enjoyable meal but not to die for in my book.

Costs: $10.90 Tastes like: $9.90. Review: Italian pastas are either your cheap Campbell soup fusion cheapish affair or a full blown atas Italian pasta. To be honest pasta is such a cheap ingredient the value of pastas lies in the freshness and balance of the ingredients as well as the texture of the pasta itself. I'm not a fan of Sakura Ebi but it does add some degree of crunch which was welcome. The price is actually quite reasonable for a moderate portion and some healthy sized prawns. I would definitely go for more garlic but nonetheless still a satisfying meal. I've had much worse at much higher prices.

I paid $5.50 but it tastes like $4.00 Review: You get an option of either mango, banana or passionfruit sorbet to go with your coconut gelato. Consistency was good and the taste was sufficiently flavorful although a little on the sweet side. Loved the free coconut water that goes with it which tastes sweetened though. Overall a good dessert for a hot day. Supposed to model the recipe from Chatuchak market but I guess anything cheap and good doesn't quite make it past the Singapore customs.

Actual price: $15
It tastes like: $21

It looks just like your regular sushi platter but don't be mistaken by its less than average looks. I really liked the salmon aburi and salmon belly slices. It had a nice sweet freshness and that fatty fragrance. Yum. Just imagine what this will taste like with some quality wasabi and soy sauce.

Feeds 2 salmon sushi cravings.

I'm late to the kkc craze that has once dominated/annoyed the feeds of many Singaporeans!
+ Noodles were really springy with a firm texture, one of the better ones I've had in a long time
+ That chilli, woo!
+ Tasty soup, better than your usual bland msg soup.
- Not much ingredients there for 5 bucks.
- Could have more side dishes to boost up the fare.
