Crispy battered fish with a smooth texture drizzled with a tiny amount of zesty sauce. This dish if add more sauce, will certainly be better. Otherwise, it just taste plain with that pathetic amount of sauce. Boring too.

Ordered Miso Spaghetti, Steak and Cheeseburger.

Steak was really very good albeit it only comes with steak and no other sides.

This Miso Spaghetti was highly raved so I tried. I asked for half portion of sauce as I heard it is very jelak. Would advise to ask for lesser than half the sauce hahahah. Not too bad.

Did not try the cheeseburger but friend said it was good.

Real value is the value for money. Paid $31 for 3 meals for 3 pax using Burpple’s 50% off entire bill deal. Super worth.

Made the trip down specially for this and it didn't disappoint! The crispy chicken katsu is coated with a thin layer of bread crumbs and deep fried. Wrapped in omelette, the garlic fried rice is simple yet delicious. The elements of the dish came together well (though the egg isn't the runny type that we often see). The hefty portion was another plus point!

Heard from the owner that this is one of their popular dishes and I can understand why 🤤

Wouldn't mind a revisit to try some of the other dishes! There's a 1-for-1 burpple deal for selected mains. Get 30% off your burpple subscription with promo code 'JQLP1380' 💸

They serve matcha / cream cheese / mix soft serve which I decided to go with the mix to get the combination of both flavours. The matcha flavour was intense with hints of bitterness and the cream cheese flavour is creamy, slightly savoury and salty. These two flavours blended quite well with one another with a mix of different tastes all in one cone. As it is a soft serve, it started melting a little too fast after serving.

Thanks to Burpple Beyond, we get to enjoy 2 Soft Serve for the price of 1 ✌ (U.P $4.80)

The pancakes are as fluffy as they look. Soft and eggy, they pair really well with the lemon maple syrup, homemade berry compote and fresh whipped cream. The only complaint we have is that there needs to be more of the berry compote and whipped cream. They were gone before we were starting on the third piece! Priced at $19.50, this is part of their all day breakfast menu but we think that this can be a dessert as well. Recommend to share this with another as it can get quite filling after a while.

While looking for a place to chill after our dinner in the Bukit Timah area recently, we stumbled upon Cowpresso Coffee Roasters. We ordered a couple of drinks (Ice Mocha & Cocoa Hot Chocolate) and a Honey Original Brioche Donut to share. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the donut tasted! It was light, fluffy and airy; certainly one of the better donuts we’ve had recently! Love the nice minimalistic interior here too, and we’ll certainly be back again to chill and check out the other items in their menu.

Thin crusted, flavours complemented well together. Needless to say this combination cannot go wrong, I would have preferred a crispier crust as the pizza couldn’t hold together. Worth the 1-1 deal on Burpple.

Great ambience as it had very chill vibes and they even had a huge TV inside. Their waffles were very fluffy and i would prefer if they could drizzle more honey/chocolate sauce as i like it sweeter. Their pistachio ice cream was really rich and nutty!!

Dish: I ordered the Black Pepper Chicken Chop while my friend ordered the Truffle Shitake Linguine. There was nothing special about the chicken chop but the fries were great. The truffle shitake linguine was pretty decent. And I would point out that they were generous with the mushroom and the mushroom was really good. The mains were average at best.

For dessert, we both got the tiramisu. It was more like tiramisu cake than actual tiramisu but still good cake. As quoted by my friend, it was better than her birthday cake.

Value: Using the 1-for-1 main and dessert deal on burpple beyond, the meal was definitely value for money. But I would find it difficult to recommend dining at Lowercase without any discount.

Final verdict: While the food we had wasn't particularly outstanding, the menu is extensive and I would try their more popular menu items like the egg bens the next time I return.

All in all, it is a very nice environment to catch up with a friend or even do work, with free wifi and power points to charge your laptop.

Used eatigo for this and it was really worth it! Nice broth which is spicy and flavourful and ramen had a nice texture. Portion was big and egg was runny. Other food were not so impressive.
