I feel the omakase we had at @yodajapanesedining was worth the $100++ as Chef Fabio served plenty of premium quality ingredients throughout our meal. Here's what we had in order:
1) Oyster shooter - It was the huge and creamy variety and the dressing was a good blend of savoury and spicy with a hint of sour.
2) Raw squid and okra with mentaiko - Chewy and slimy with an umami kick.
3) Cold poached egg with wasabi-marinated octopus and ikura - A really sensuous creation.
4) Sashimi - The botan ebi shrimp and thick cuts of otoro, chutoro and kanpachi were superbly fresh. When we were done, the shrimp head was taken away, deepfried and served again, all hot and crispy this time. Total scrumptiousness.
5) Two kinds of tempura with mentaiko mayo - I love, love, love the natto and seaweed because I am a natto fan. The Tai fish with Shiso leaf was also delicious.
6) Crab and foie gras - The former, which was really fresh, had been cooked in a light sauce, while the latter was pan-fried. The chunk of braised daikon below proved a nice foil to the richness of this dish.
7) Mangalica pork with burdock root crisps, edamame and potato salad - I chose to replace the original item of lamb with this because I am more of a pork person.
No regrets.
8) Sanbo Rice - Not shown here but I posted this separately as it is too good!
9) Somen with chives - The soft noodles look plain but every strand was full of flavour from being cooked in a tasty stock.
10) Japanese musk melon - One half was original but the other had been soaked in whisky (thanks to @jiaknonstop's instructions to the chef). Both were divine.
Conclusion: The ambience of this rather spacious restaurant isn't anything to shout about but the quality and variety of the food at those prices makes it worth traveling for.

A spicy Aglio Olio with lots of baby clams. Belly nice. Posted by Ah Leong San 2015 November 23

hand-cut pappardelle and prawns in a rich cream sauce that had more than a hint of cumin and curry. the pappardelle was great - good chew and held the sauce well. unfortunately i thought the sauce was a little too oily; there were small pools of oil forming after a while. go easy on the sauce and this dish would be better methinks.

At last night's dinner party held at Cicheti to celebrate a couple's 40th wedding anniversary, I had a chance to try the Capellini Zaferano. The saffron-flavoured, ever-so-slightly creamy and umami sauce of this dish (I suspect it's shellfish-based) didn't shout like an aglio olio or arrabiata. Instead, I would say it purred sensuously with a luxurious robustness all its own. The lightly pan-fried Hokkaido scallops were bouncy and juicy, while the florets of broccoli retained a welcome crunch.
Everyone who ordered this wiped their plates clean. I guess they liked it as much as I did.

Fresh, springy prawns, crunchy asparagus and handmade squid ink pasta came tossed in a luscious sauce that seduced with the stealthy heat of chilli padi.

So hungry that i forgot to take a picture before eating 😅 really flavourful risotto in bisque-like sauce

This was legit. None of that fake truffle oil nonsense. Bits and chunks of black truffle and Parmesan - that's the way to go.

Was feeling for Risotto and went to visit Park cuz i am ½ day leave 😎 The taste: rich and fragrant! However, the rice just a little under 😐 overall, i would still order this dish for the taste. The serving was quite generous too! We couldnt finish our food (as usual), we probably over ordered #greedyface

If you are really looking for some solid Mac and cheese, here's the place to be. Their truffled mac n' cheese is honestly one of the best few I've had, hands down, in Singapore. Maybe it's the flavorful truffle, or the cheesy creamy macaroni, I don't know. But this bowl of real goodness ($13.50) is something I never fail to order when dining at park. Favourite part of the bowl is the top layer of melted cheese and truffle which is simply just mouth watering😍 The other dishes here (burgers/pasta/sides) are just alright but a little pricey though. Their truffle fries were okay, but was a generous portion. Convenient with good Mac n' cheese, this is a decent place to hang out with friends :--)

The shoestring truffle fries served here are superb & comparable w the ones in Ps Cafe. Generous portion, perfectly golden & crisp yet fluffy on the inside. Blanket in a cobweb of glorious cheese, you won't be able to stop munching till they're all gone! Love that they have alfresco seatings & are dog-friendly. The staffs here are well-trained & very friendly. They even served my pup a bowl of sparkling water. Yes, sparkling. Bubbles & all!✨ You can be certain that made my pooch really happy. Their hot chocolate was really creamy & not overly sweet. Great vibes, great food & great service. Would definitely visit here more often! 🌳

Even though it was lightly seasoned, the crab meat was very fresh. 26$
