Iced Flat White ($5.50) It was smooth with a coffee kick, not the strongest but it was still delicious to me! I hadn’t expected a good coffee so this was pleasantly surprising.

Haritts Donuts & Coffee This is the ultimate soft fluffy and chewy donut I have ever tried!! These donuts are really out of this world. One bite into the donut and it’s hard not to be a fan. Instead of the traditional doughy bread-like texture, Haritts’ donuts showed no sign of oiliness and pack a tad more thickness which makes them addictively chewy and incredibly pillowy. Also you know how you try to tear apart a donut and you unintentionally squash the other end? Yes, this donut gets squashed like every other donut; BUT it bounces right back up after you release your grip!!! My favourite has to be the cream cheese, dusted with powdered sugar and filled with slight savoury cream cheese. Haritts Donuts & Coffee is a famous Japanese donut place in Tokyo. Currently located at #01-08 Havelock II, 2 Havelock Rd. They have an array of choices to order from, including - Original - Pistachio - Limone - Chocolate - Nutella - Cinnamon currants - Cream cheese - Matcha Currently to do their part to #stopthespread of COVID19, they will be limiting operations to Thursdays and Sundays (10.30am till sold out) every week. Only limited stocks are available, so these donuts may be sold out before closing time, especially the popular flavours. But worry not as they will be taking in PRE-ORDERS for either pick-up or delivery ISLANDWIDE on Thursdays and Sundays, until business can resume as usual. Minimum order of $30 for delivery. Nominal delivery charges across the island will vary. I love Haritts donuts and recommend to try it too and I hope you love it as much as I do.

Original Donut Had high hopes for this but it failed to impress. Tasted very normal and while it wasn’t bad, I certainly was expecting more. Felt more like a bread? Maybe if I had treated it as a bread it would have been nicer!

Birthday Lunch 😌 First post will be my birthday lunch at Wakey Wakey with my girlf😌 Damn the service was superb. Loved the ambience. Ordered 4 items. 1. Magic mushroom 2. Grain bowl (sous vide beef) 3. Buttermilk waffle (Greek yogurt and fruits) 4. Flat white Picked the magic mushroom over truffle fries because it’s something different and damn it did not disappoint. It was so juicy and crunchy I’m def getting more of it in future. It was my first time trying sous vide beef so I can’t really give any remarks on it I love my waffles and this waffle offered a soft bite, it tasted real good but I wished the outer layer could have been a little crunchier(: Overall definitely a cafe I would go back again to try other food in the menu, can’t wait!! #burpple #cafehoppingsg
Carrot Cake, Iced Latte (w soy milk) and Sea Salt Chocolate Dish: recommended by the cafe assistant, the carrot cake was true to her description of it. Carrot cake was moist and the salted caramel walnut on top of the cake was too good; it was a perfectly balanced delicious cake. Iced latte (w soy milk) - super good. I normally have my iced lattes with sugar syrup but with this one, I didn’t want any because I wanted to taste the coffee. Bitter yes but so full of taste. Sea salt chocolate came with a chilled glass - it is what it is and it is good. You’ll like it if you like your iced chocolate thick (not thin). Basically, “molten chocolate goodness packed in a bottle” 🌞 Price: Carrot cake ($8.50), iced latte ($6) + soy ($0.60), sea salt chocolate ($7.00) Experience: Was very sure the cafe assistant saw that I was holding a laptop and knew that I’d need a power outlet so she chauffeured me to the table right beside one. 💖 ambience was really nice, really beautiful interior and homely feel with carpets laying around and earthy furniture. Rlly good taste in music too, chill sounds. Perfect for breakfast/brunch and lots of seats indoor and outdoor. Sooo much natural light. Not gonna lie; instagram-worthy 🙇🏻‍♀️
Apple Crumble Waffle It did its job, but nothing special. Waffle was normal, Granny Smith apple compote was normal, vanilla ice cream was normal. I was excited about the "crumble" but it's more like deconstructed, serving some random crumble instead.

Out Of This World- Pun Intended 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙪𝙨’ 𝙈𝙞𝙡𝙠𝙮 𝙒𝙖𝙮 (~$7) challenged my idea that bottled drinks are inferior. Coming in strong with a slightly sweet taste from the milk, I was enveloped with a nutty chocolately flavour soon after. This cold brew ended off with a bittersweet coffee note: perfection. ☕️ - Snagged the last bottle there that day, sure am feeling lucky 😂 Ig @goodfomood
Creamy Mushrooms on Toasted Sourdough ($15) + Scrambled Eggs ($3.20) I've wanted to try this for a long time but have always been put off by the purported queue and the relative inaccessibility for me. So I'm thankful to the circuit breaker that I can now have this delivered. Even taken away, it is absolutely amazing. The mushrooms have a beautiful bite, and are creamy and cheesy without being jelat. Eggs are firm and moist. And unlike many sourdough breads out there, this sourdough is proper sourdough, with the classic texture and taste of sourdough. Highly, highly recommended, even at this price point.
Creamy Mushroom On Toasted Sourdough With Scrambled Eggs & Smoked Salmon Benny I’ve been pretty impressed with all their other branches - Atlas Coffeehouse, Apollo Coffee bar & Lunar Coffee Brewers. This was the only cafe I’ve yet to try and I was really excited bcoz I heard really good reviews of their food. We thoroughly enjoyed the shimeji mushrooms on toasted sourdough, and the scrambled eggs ($19) we added on the side was perfectly creamy! We also ordered another brunch staple, the Smoked Salmon Benny ($19), which was great too. Of course we couldn’t leave here without having their coffee (the coffee at their other branches are consistently good!). We got the Iced Hazelnut Latte with ice-cream ($8) and my only gripe was that it was a bit too sweet. Overall, fantastic food and drinks just like their other branches & I would definitely return again :-)
