Matcha latte espresso was milky and too light on both the matcha and coffee. Didn’t satisfy my craving for either matcha or coffee. Abit disappointing after seeing all the rave reviews so maybe it’s just me.

3 for $10; 1 for $3.50

Choux were mini sized. The salted caramel one was even smaller. Earl grey and hazelnut were light and flavour could be much more prominent. The salted caramel choc one on the other hand was too rich (gelat) and a tad too salty. Choux itself was not bad. Really pricey for the size.

Choux and filling wise I still prefer baristart cream puff and it’s cheaper and bigger (than 3 puffs combined)

Spiciness level 1-12. I was told normal is 1; 3-4 if you can take spicy. So I opted for 2 and it was pretty damn spicy but manageable (cleaned my plate). I think 2 is the max I’m willing to go without torturing myself.

Love the crispy bits and the spicy chicken was a perfect match with the sweet indomie - huge portion of maybe 2 packets worth of indomie - that helped to offset the 🔥.

Fangko melaka coffee was still pretty strong, not too sweet with a smoky melaka undertone after sometime in the cup of ice. Please order their coffee or any milk based drink for optimal enjoyment of your meal - I needed it.

Bread was so good - tangy and crusty on top with lots of seeds. Lots of eggs, sharp cheddar, pickled onions, tomato, kale. Delicious and filling.

Moist and crumbly - maybe because it was jam packed with ingredients. Lots of ingredients and textures in every bite - which I like. Could do with less currants as it’s more like a fruit cake than carrot cake to me.

The special has the addition of a runny egg and more meat (I think?) vs the standard pork katsu don.

Runny egg makes it silkier and saucier and tasted better compared to the standard. Pork katsu was well fried; although there were some fatty bits that were hard to chew, overall it was tasty katsu. There was enough ingredients and sauce to go with the rice so I finished everything. Good enough for a re-purchase.

Tempura (Seafood, anago, red fish, scallop, pumpkin, french beans) was quite greasy and batter was thick. Seafood were incredibly bland. The best tempura was the pumpkin which luckily was sweet. They should have tempura glaze with the noodle set too.

Spicy cold udon tasted much better than the tempura. Noodles were qq, spicy, flavourful and crunchy with Sakura ebi, cucumbers strips, leeks, crispy tempura batter.

At this price point, there are many other tastier tempura joints.

Like garlic bread on steroids with the dough being way fluffier and lighter. Marinara sauce added freshness to the super garlicky pizza. Both the dough and toppings - so good.

Was pleasantly surprised by the intensity of the coffee. Not the milky coffee I was expecting but pretty strong. Taste v good with cocoa nibs. My fav flavour here followed by PB choc. Cone as usual was very buttery and good.

2 Jjm with a Tangsuyuk.

The jjm sauce was more savoury compared to the one at O.bba which was sweeter and noodles were also chewier. I like both actually.

Asked for sauce on the side for the pork to be dipped in; the tangsuyuk remained wonderfully crisp and sauce was still hot after sometime. This came with plenty of vegs - onions, black fungus, cabbage, carrot slices. The pork itself was not exceptional (slightly tough) but this sweet & tangy dish complemented the savouriness of the jjm so well you have to have them together! Love the vinegary tangy sauce.

I will come back for both

Banana cake with dark brown sugar packed with generous chunks of fresh banana. Had it toasted; it was dense, moist and crisp along the edges and slightly on the sweeter side.

Decent banana bread but wouldn’t return for this.

The cheese was more intense and more pungent compared to their Olivia’s cheesecake. The centre was gooey while the edges were very slightly firmer in texture. Like eating gooey, smokey, rich cheese. Abit too much for me.
