I could cry. Don’t know what took me to long to try this place but it is SUPERB. The four cheese pizza was delicious, the wine list was good (and a very pretty sommelier helped us out too), and the highlight of the night was their homemade pastas, which clearly was so delicious that I ate it all before even taking a picture...

This restaurant was one of the best experience I’ve had in 2018. Went for the omakase set coupled with the house sake bottled under the Ki-sho name. If you like uni and have deep pockets, you’ve got to come here. Their range of uni isn’t just your usual aka uni, and they’ve got a little nifty uni guide provided to tell you which region your uni is from. A meal here isn’t cheap, but if you’ve got something to celebrate and you enjoy uni, this is the place to be.

Told myself I'd go on a quest to find the best tonkatsu in SG... & I stopped when I found this holy grail for tonkatsu. Fried to perfection, moist and tender, perfect amount of fat – not to mention they also serve a great sparkling sake which goes well with this. A little bit on the pricier side for tonkatsu, but a small price to pay for a little bit of heaven. On a side note, order the fried oysters too! Extremely plump and juicy little morsels for a bit of a surf and turf.

Like cheese? Like honey? Usually I'm not a fan of sweet-salty combinations but THIS. This is the melted cheese to end all melted cheese cravings. Cheese melted in a nice cast iron pan, drizzled with honey, topped with almonds and served with fresh bread. This is one of those simple dishes that somehow combine together for an other worldly experience.

An extremely indulgent yet comforting meal, with the tastiest fried pork skin ice ever had. Yes, fried pork skin!! Expertly fried to a crisp, savoury and fatty, it is the star of all the dishes there. The curry is on the watery side, but full of flavour. Do also order the cabbage! It's soft and tender and braised with lots of flavour. Do go early though, & the queue can be insane during lunch hours. But trust me, it's worth it!
