A specialty of Chiang Mai where the meat is mixed with chilli and lots of herbs. Yummy on its own but even better if you cut it up and mix it with Spaghetti Aglio Olio. The last time @blueskiescottonclouds and I were in Bangkok, we bought a few, froze them and brought them back to home 😆.

It is a high end market where the rich locals shop. You can therefore be assured of high quality produce in a clean setting. We were there to eat (mainly) and to buy nam priks (chilli sauces and dips).

Our first dish was som tam (green papaya salad) from Stall 9/25. Spicy, tangy and savoury in a perfect blend 😋.

Not completely satisfied with dinner, we started planning our supper. This dish is only available from 11pm onwards and and the wait is typically quite long. We didn’t really feel like dragging ourselves all the way to Chinatown to queue up for the noodles. @blueskiescottonclouds gave me a brilliant idea of ordering through Line Man. Thank you 😘!

Having downloaded the app, I realised that it was all in Thai and I couldn’t find Jeh O Chula. After much searching and with the help of the friendly staff at the hotel, I managed to track it down to Jae Oh Khao Tom Pet (the pictures, phone number and address were correct). I placed the order at 10.40pm and it arrived at 11.20pm. Success!

Prawns sautéed in Thai sweet and spicy curry. I found this dish well balanced but too mild. The flavours did not quite stand out.
