This bowl transported me back to Taiwan when i was younger and had my very first lu rou fan!!! Every grain of rice was soaked up the braised sauce which made it so good to even eat alone. The meat was nice and chopped up, perfect for eating with just a spoon. Honestly, what a steal??

Generous portion but food was average. My salmon were terribly overdone and it made finishing the two fillets a very dreadful affair. The appetisers were decent but the meal wasn't worth it at all.

WARNING: CHILLI PACKS A PUNCH

I'm an absolute sucker for ban mian so this was definitely a must try. The noodles were nice and springy and the ban mian had a nice kick to it as a whole! The spinach soup on the side was also really refreshing as it didn't have the MSG taste, just good ole spinach soup.

The amount of service given to customers here is really impeccable, even surpassing certain restaurants out there! Those who've been here before would know that the price has increased and the staff are patient and more than willing to explain the price hike to you.

They make sure every element of the dish is PERFECT before serving it out. The crispy potato surrounding the prawn, tender cha shu and perfectly cooked ramen egg are just testaments to the amount of effort put into each bowl.

Was it worth the wait? Perhaps, though I'd jump at this store every time if there isn't a perpetual long queue.

Pretty decent pie! This isn't your usual crust, requiring more effort than normal to break it into small bits. However, that means the crust ends up being nice and crispy which adds a different texture to the sponge and cream. The flavour of the banana and cognac really got through without one overpowering the other too!

Served with a choice of herbed rice, mashed potatoes or a baguette!

Serving up a variety of great quality French cuisine at affordable prices! Go for the baguette as it soaks up the thick and flavourful stew well :) The meat fell off the bone so easily and was really tender when i bit into it. Definitely worth another visit!

This was pretty good actually. Other than the fact that the pineapple tasted like those that came from cans, the lightly toasted bun and juicy pork patty did do the burger some justice. The fries weren't crisp either but decent enough to savour.

Came here to try a different store only to realised they don't open on Mondays so I decided to go back to my comfort food and I was pleasantly surprised.

This is the way hokkien mee should be done!!! This version is dry, having a creamy texture from soaking up the sauce that it normally sits in. The noodles itself were the star of the dish though the liao was quite scarce. The chilli given is also quite little but feel free to ask for more :)

P.S. the uncle cooks in batches so don't be too put off by the queue!

Tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. This seared sirloin steak stole my heart. The fried garlic and cabbage hidden under the slices of beef were also a great addition in helping to add different textures to the dish.

The staff are also really friendly, definitely worth a visit :)

FYI, everything is priced $5 and $10 (including drinks) before GST and service charge!

I never thought rosti could be this crispy!! The pulled duck was nice and tender and the eggs were perfectly poached. Felt like both the pork and eggs could've been seasoned a bit more but overall all the elements came together nicely!

(also my food wasn't warm when i started digging in but maybe i just took a long time to take my pictures 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Couldn't find this place on Burpple which is a shame!! Master Prata.com (not to be confused with Master Prata at Alexandra) serves up seriously crispy pratas, perhaps even crispier than Mr and Mrs Mohgans! The pratas did taste a little dough-y though. Overall one of THE CRISPIEST pratas in town.

Go for the kosongs [$1] as they won't disappoint! You can hear the crunch from chewing on the pratas (they're that crispy!!). The egg prata [$1.60] wasn't crispy (duh) but i'd say it's better than most egg pratas out there. It gets slightly oily but these calories are worth it 😋

For a dish with "bento" in its name, I was expecting a slightly different presentation. No doubt the wagyu was cooked to a pink centre and the minced beef had more than just hints of truffle but this really isn't the best around town. The cook on the beef was great but it seemed to lack flavour. The rice was also pretty lackluster (your typical white rice).

Given the ridiculous waiting time and slightly pricey menu, I'd prefer take my money elsewhere.

P.S. go early as they sell out pretty fast
