Tried the Premium Prawn Noodles and Tasting Platter Ngoh Hiang, and was pleasantly surprised by how rich and flavorful the broth was.
I like how the prawn noodles are served in claypots and itāll keep the soup hot even after a long while.
Ngoh Hiang is worth trying - it comes with quite a variety for u to mix and choose but we decided to just go for the tasting platter and add on a century egg. The fried items are not too oily yet still yummy.
While the prices are slightly steeper than the usual prawn noodles but I would say the quality of the noodles is worth the buck! Would go again and try its other prawn noodles mix!
Tried the Emperorās Rice Dumpling and Hakka Pork Belly with Preserved veg Rice Dumpling - must say the fillings are pretty generous and legit flavourful. Personally prefer the Emperorās Rice Dumpling for its good mix of ingredients!
Have always been a fan of FuLin Yuen at Siglap and decided to give this outlet at Suntec a try! Good variety of quality ingredients to choose from (as usual). However, taste may be lighter as compared to the Siglap outlet. In all, itās a good option if youāre looking for dry YTF at this area.
Think of TzeChar with a modern twist and thatās Enjoy Eating House and Bar. The restaurant at Stevens Road offers a cosy dining environment with pretty good and interesting local dishes.
Tried a few of their recommended dishes and my fav would be the Pitan Tofu. I like how thereās real bits of crab meat as one of the toppings apart from the century egg. Itās pretty flavourful given that the paste is made up of the century egg yolk itself.
Also, the Silky Egg Crispy Horfun is worth a try if you would like a different spin to your usual traditional horfun. Portion is generous too.
