There is no place for self control at a place like this.
Sour cream and onion was my main and it was every bit as tasty as the picture looked. Skin was crispy, sauce was generous and I want another one.
For dessert I had the honey butter chicken. Do not doubt the warning that it is sweet and addictive. I'm probably gonna order this every time I come here.
Also had a garlicky chicken, which was 10/10, exactly what it says on the tin. You can't go wrong with garlic.
They even have pretty drinks. We shared a blue toktok, non alcoholic because my friend is weak, but it was refreshing and sweet so no regrets.

Octopus chorizo and fish tacos were both 10/10. The sauce on the octopus was the perfect level of spice, noticeable but didn't overpower the other flavours in the dish. I the fried fish went surprisingly well with the taco as well. Definitely something I'll order again.
I don't think it says anywhere, but if you order the chocolate dome, they let you yeet it into the plate to break the shell. That was a pretty cool experience.
Also, Sapporo is life and they have it on tap

What immediately stood out to me was the decor. Stepping into the restaurant almost felt like going to another country. On top of that, we were given a private room, well insulated from the noise of the road, where a very nice barn door ensured an undisturbed dining experience.
For a starter, we were served naan bread with avocado hummus, beetroot tzatziki, and baba ghanoush. I honestly can't choose a favourite out of all of them. We also had a set of tuna mini cones and para picar, followed by roasted romanesco and jamon bikini. I normally don't like vegetables much, but I have to say the romanesco is much tastier than its green-ness would suggest.
These were served with a Manzanilla, a relatively dry and slightly acidic sherry that complemented the dishes well.
Our main was a barbeque skate, accompanied by a crisp Spanish Verdejo with citrus notes. Out of everything, this one was easily my favourite dish.
To end the meal, we had a burnt cheese cake and PS sherry. The sherry was very sweet and smooth with flavours of figs and dates, a good choice for dessert.

tl;dr food is great, you should come here and eat everything.
I went with a friend and we had a starter, two steaks, two sides and dessert. The sous chef prepared every dish in front of us in front of us, in an open kitchen. He gave us a quick explanation of each dish, which I thought was a really nice addition to the dining experience. Unfortunately, I was distracted by the beautiful plume of flame in the background where they were grilling the steaks and I've forgotten a lot of the details.
We started with a bacon and bourbon rillettes on sourdough toast. I feel like just the name alone properly describes how tasty it is. There's just the right amount of rillettes to go with the bread, not too much, not too little.
Our main was a Black Opal wagyu onglet and Denver steak. I personally preferred the onglet, even though the Denver steak had a higher marbling score, and most people would consider it to be of higher quality. I will say the Denver steak had a nicer texture though. At the end of the day, they're both wagyu and we're comparing 9/10 and 10/10
The sauces that came with the steaks were great, but I usually don't put sauce on my steak, so I just ate the sauces by themselves.
The charred broccolini side was surprisingly good, for a vegetable dish. I'm not gonna say it's as good as meat, but it's one of the best green things I've ever eaten
For dessert, we had an apple crostillant for dessert. It was a really nice sweet note to end off the meal

We had two pieces of wagyu, a zabuton and a rib cap. I honestly can't say which is better. The zabuton had a more unique taste, but the rib cap was more beefy. I like the firmer texture of the rib cap, but the zabuton really melts in your mouth, which I think most people prefer. The fact that the cow paintings on the wall were watching us eat their friends just made it sweeter. The sauce was great, but the steaks were too good to put anything on it.

Great value and tasty food! I had the unagi tama don and the mentaiko soft shell crab but i forgot to take a pic of that one. I'm gonna get the salmon next time I'm in the east!

Very highly recommend the Iberico bak kut teh risotto and salted egg tarts. The $30 set lunch is a great deal. I'll definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu!

Possibly the best dining experience I've ever had
I hate mushrooms, but the mushroom boat pizza (not gonna try to remember the Italian name) was one of the best things I've ever tasted. I can't put my finger on what kind of chilli oil they use, but it perfectly complements the creamy dishes. My only regret is that I forgot to order the limited edition cheese bowl pasta. I'll definitely be going back to get that. And probably a pizza. They've got full size pizzas for like the same price as fast food places. Without combos of course.
What really made the night though was the service. Aunty Aisha was the friendliest server I've ever met. She made us feel really at home. I don't even want to meme for this review

Tbh i didn't have very high expectations going in because I don't really like Chinese food that isn't deep fried, but this place is actually really good. Despite being under $10, the beef noodles had a pretty much perfect texture, and the flavour was spot on too. I've had chee chong fan before and it's never been anything special, but if we only talk about Waihailou's chee chong fan, it might just be my new favourite snack sized food. I would totally walk through Chinatown to eat again, even during code orange

Absolutely amazing food, and for a pretty reasonable price too :D The ribs, sirloin steak, ribeye steak and philly cheese steak are all highly recommended (my parents had some of that, I didn't eat 4 things) I think my favourite side was the cornbread but honestly you gotta try them all. I am against eating vegetables though. Despite what the diagram says, the grass fed and grain fed steaks do not in fact come from the same cow. I asked. most importantly, the milkshake comes with RAINBOW SPRINKLES I was so excited i forgot to take a pic before biting it.
Really though, props to the staff for sanitising the seats after every patron to fight the spread of corona

Amazing food. I r8 it 8/8 M8

There's a lot of good ramen in Singapore, but Nagi is really a head of the competition. Taste and texture are both awesome, but what really makes the experience are the chopsticks. Especially for foreigners, it's easy to screw it up and let the noodles slip out, but these have a thread cut into them :D It gives plenty of traction, whether you're trying to grip noodles or tearing a piece of seaweed into strips. I don't want to turn into a pitch for utensils, but I really want to drive home how good they are. Anyway, Black King is the best ramen. Don't @cme

Overall i give the place a perfect 5/7
Most importantly, the food actually filled the plate. None of this big plate small food bullshit
I appreciate the JoJo reference in the menu, also the most badass sounding cocktail ever
I've never chamomile tea before, but I can confirm that the tea here is made out of tea
Also TIL what a 'market leaf' is
The Breakfast Works was awesome, and under $25
