The dessert was presented really well. The earl grey ice cream had a tinge of orange in it which I guess is quite creative but I personally prefer normal earl grey haha. The bailey's with brownies ice cream was not bad, as there was a brownie hidden in the middle of the bailey's ice cream. I don't really like bailey's though so the slight bitterness/medicinal flavour of the ice cream didn't sit well with me. The waffles were crunchy and delicious though :)

Saw this restaurant on Burpple a few days ago and went there heheh since it's somewhat near my workplace. The restaurant was quite quiet as there weren't many customers. This combined with the relative spaciousness of the restaurant made for a rather good eating and chilling experience.

This dish is basically a rehashed version of the Taiwanese Lu Rou Fan. I had my steak well done and it was really delicious - chewy but not too chewy :) the egg was runny as well and the gooey yolk matched well with the meat. The veggies at the side added a different 口感 to the dish as well, as it was crunchy. It was a great meal and oh yes it's $10 🤡

I had pulled pork dip, shortrib grilled cheese (without the meat HAHA) [$13] and pizza fries [$14] at alter ego :) the pulled pork dip was very nice, with the pulled pork being v flavourful and cohesive with the savoury toasts at the side. The tenderness of the pork just mashed very well together with the crispness of the bread.

The grilled cheese was also delicious. It's basically toasted sandwich with cheese in the middle. Sadly, I didn't order the shortrib which imo might have brought more flavours and textures to the sandwich. The cheese was oozing out from the sandwich which made for both an aesthetical and gastronomical delight LOL. I had both 眼福 and 口福 heheh.

The pizza fries were also an good addition to my meal and were really cool in general. There was lots of cheese in it which was nice (though quite unhealthy I think haha) and there were a number of bacon-like things sprinkled on top. I must say though, the food in general tasted a lil 重口味 at times but overall, I'll recommend alter ego!

Generous portion of salmon served on the pizza :) the pizza was also rather thin and crunchy which was not bad! I also liked the addition of the vegetables which neutralised the saltiness of the smoked salmon. Overall it was quite good.

The cafe was very intimate and quiet. I went on a a Monday night and there was only one other table occupied. It was a cosy and pretty place to dine in and chill :)

This was so colourful, delicious and healthy-tasting! I absolutely loved it haha. The rice is the healthy purple kind and there was quite a wide variety of side dishes accompanying my spicy pork, giving different flavours to the dish. The restaurant wasn't very crowded too, despite it being peak hours in the CBD so it's a rather good place to beat the lunch crowd :)

The black sesame paste was not bad but not out-of-this-world impressive. Perhaps the paste could have been thicker and the black sesame taste stronger? The tang yuans on the other hand were chewy and quite nice. This place is famous for their shaved ice though I think so maybe ordering that might be better? 🤔

Queued for roughly 1h 10min for this 😭 the char siew was not bad while the soya sauce chicken somehow tasted like chicken I can buy at my 家楼下 HAHA. I would say this is quite worth it for the price but not v worth it for the queue :(

This was very cheap at only $2.30! However, I thought the curry could have been stronger and more flavourful :( the dish tasted like normal mixed vegetable rice with curry drizzled on top, which was a little bit disappointing to me. But I guess the pork chop was quite crispy and not bad. For $2.30 though, the standard of the dish is quite acceptable.

Ordered one egg prata, one kosong prata and one ice Milo and need I say, the combination was fantastic.

Prata wala's pratas are always crispy, especially their egg pratas somehow even though in my impression, egg pratas are usually soggier cos there is more liquid inside 🤔 I cannot really tell the difference between curries so won't comment much about that. The Milo was a little sweet but well, Milos can't get too bad can they? Heheh so it was still really nice and soothing. What a pleasant brunch :)

Wow I'm so hardworking, burppling though I have work tomorrow 😭 anyway, I had dinner at Nana's green tea and boy was the food nice as always. I ordered teriyaki hamburg rice which overall tasted quite nutritious (with the ample portions of veggies and meat) and yet delicious at the same time. I really love the 口感 of the rice - it's so chewy and springy. I liked the egg plant at the side as well! The Hamburg also went very well with the rice and veggies, and was really nice to chew. A pity though that the teriyaki sauce was a tad too sweet for me :( the experience was also brought down by the fact that the food took quite long to come. The kitchen probably forgot out orders :( but other than that, I enjoyed my meal :)
