This was really delicious. It didn't feel too oily and there were quite a lot of seafood added into the pasta. And oh yes, they had 1-for-1 too, which made it quite affordable :) a pity the really nice looking tom yum pasta wasn't included under the 1-for-1 promotion :(

Omg the waffle was so so so nice, one of the nicest waffle I've eaten in Singapore :) it was both crispy and soft and the taste was damn good too! The Pandan ice cream tasted okay only to me but then again I didn't choose that flavour so perhaps Pandan lovers might like it. The earl grey was much like other earl grey ice cream I've eaten cos all earl grey ice cream taste the same to me. It was good. But I exceeded my caloric limit with this lol.

Had free llao llao yesterday thanks to AIA's ongoing promotion with the dessert brand. It was so delicious, especially the combination of yogurt and the sweet biscuit sauce. I don't know how many calories went down my stomach in the end though 🤔🤔🤔

Had fried beehoon, chicken cooked in red wine, steamed yellow grouper, spinach with egg white and fried battered prawns at putien yesterday. The total bill came up to $98 for 4 including drinks. The beehoon and prawns were really good and went very well together with putien's chilli sauce which I absolutely love. On the other hand the fish had a little too many bones for my liking, the chicken wasn't really to my taste and the spinach was a little bitter for me. But I think is cos of my personal taste and not cos the dishes weren't cooked well. Heheh anyway, it was a really nice and healthy tasting meal!

Oh my, this was very delicious, especially the cold noodles. The dumplings were quite normal I feel, but the cold noodles and knife cut noodles were great! At first bite the cold noodles just tasted erm weird but the more you eat the better it gets. The noodles went well with the soybean broth and I liked how the dish was cold. On the other hand, the knife cut noodles were hearty and would be perfect for winter. It tasted a teeny bit like banmian too woohoo.

The ice cream was the best of the lot. I really like the presentation of the desserts too. It was all not bad but the matcha flavour could have been stronger though :(

The cafe was generally very quiet and peaceful as there weren't many people when we visited. It is located in Museum Hotel and is thus quite a good place to rest after a day of walking/eating especially for travellers staying there.

The presentation of the food items was fantastic too, with rose petals and pink sugar flakes adorning the rose cheesecake. Everything was quite instagrammable 🙂 The taste of the desserts was also good - rich and not too sweet.

Couldn't taste the matcha in the waffle :( the waffle can be crispier too but other than that, it was okay. Good for chilling and talking, and the interior is quite comfy and homely. The ice cream was not bad too, but not say very impressive. Would still come here again though! Cos of the interior design and the relative quietness of the cafe.

This dish fell a bit below my expectations cos it had too many raving reviews I think. But it was still good! The duck egg version was very interesting and and increased the savoury-ness of the kway teow.

This was a pleasant find as we visited Kafe Ping Hooi for the Tiger Char Koay Teow and found this store at a corner of the shop. I would say the Lor Bak is similar to Ngoh Hiang in Singapore but even better. The tofu was crispy on the outside but very soft on the inside which made chewing it very 爽口. The prawn cracker was extremely crispy as well and went well together with the other ingredients on the plate like say the boiled octopus. Tried Lor Bak a few times in Penang after that but this particular Lor Bak triumphs the rest that I tried.
