4th dish of BB set meal. Smoked duck was tender and flavourful, paired with burnt leek and creamy mashed potatoes.

3rd dish of BB set meal. Topped with seaweed powder. Tastes not bad but I was feeling pretty full by the time i was halfway through this!

2nd course of BB set meal. Personally not a fan of cauliflower, but this tastes pretty decent with its combination with hummus and furikake.

Checked out this place cos of Burpple Beyond, and this dish is the 1st course for the BB 5-course set meal. We got a shock when this was served cos the pasta wasn’t fully cooked, but the staff quickly got it changed after we told them. This is probably my fave dish out of the 5, mushrooms had a strong and fragrant truffle taste. For an appetizer this is pretty filling!

In the midst of COVID-19 when we can’t travel, this is the closest thing you can get to Taiwan. Tried their Eat 3 Bowls with drink ($15 nett) and braised chinese cabbage ($4.20 nett). Personally love their shredded chicken rice which was tender and fragrant with shallot oil drizzled onto the chicken. Their 卤肉饭 is good too! Braised pig intestine mee sua was not bad but pales in comparison to the other 2 rice dishes. Their milk tea is worth a try too with chewy pearls that are of the right Q-ness. Will definitely be back! Be prepared to Q during meal times though.

A filipino friend recommended this place to me, and it did not disappoint! The pork is tender and most importantly, the skin is roasted to a perfect crispiness. Reminds me of Bali’s famous Babi Guling but with more meat. The dipping sauce is tasty and pairs well with the meat. For $9.50 I personally find it a little pricey, but would probably just order the Lechon without the rice next time!

This simple-looking egg fried rice seriously blew my mind (and tastebuds) cos it’s SO SO GOOD!!! tried both the XO and mala fried rice with pork cutlet and finished every bit of it. priced at $7.80 for XO fried rice) and $7 (for mala fried rice) this is seriously a steal and it’s way more value-for-$$ as compared to DTF. truly a hidden gem!

Tried their wagyu beef noodles with tomato broth and i must say it’s really quite tasty! The beef chunks are tender and tomato broth is rich but not too gelat. Comes with half a lava egg too! Would be a more complete meal if they included some veggies. Worth it with #burpplebeyond

One of my favourite go-to place for consistent & good quality pasta. Tried this at various branches of Kith Cafe and none of them failed to meet expectations. They used to have 1-for-1 deals which made it really worth but sadly those promotions have ceased.

Discovered this really delicious and smooth cold brew during the CB period. Tried their Cold Brew White so far and it’s really good! Will be trying their other cold brews like Bandung and Rose Chocolate which I heard are really good too. Bit pricey at $6.90 per bottle though so can’t drink it as often as BBT :/

Love the combination of ingredients but a tad disappointed that the dish was served cold. Can be a little gelat which explains the small portion.

Earl grey taste wasn’t strong enough but the peanut toppings were yummy and crunchy! Used Burpple Beyond deal for this (:
