Soba ana rice set This set is wonderful!! The rice was very healthy with five grains The portions are also just perfect!

Duck soba I ordered hot duck soba and sobagaki. The duck was in three very large pieces and the soup tasted just right😋 I wanna try other tastes and cold one!

Great soba in Singapore! We really like the soba here and have been patronising this place for years (at their original outlet in ORP) :) Ventured beyond our usual order of the unagi soba and tried the collagen chicken soba today - it was nice and the chili on the side made it taste like chicken rice in a bowl :) The seasonal this month (uni soba/only at 100am) was especially nice too, hope Yusuke-san makes it a regular menu item.

Good food but poor service… Food and price were actually sooo good! Loved the tagliatelle the sauce soooo delish but felt that the manager’s attitude changed completely when she heard we were using burpple… like she didn’t even look at us when talking to us compared to the friendliness showed when sitting us down 🥲

Honey Rice Oolong Tea w Fresh Lemon ($5.60) I felt that fresh lemon covered up with rice oolong tea too much. But it got hints for rice oolong tea aftertaste.

Rice Oolong Milk Tea ($4.90) My sister told me to order L size instead of M size ($4.50) and then difference like 40 cents lol. I opt out for 30% stevia sugar and also less ice. The taste for oolong tea was quite good standard as not that thick milky texture tbh but not suitable for lactose intolerant ppl.

This Iced Chocolate is rubbish. Ordered the iced chocolate with a Dirty using the Burpple 1-1. This beverage is vile. A joke. Does not taste like chocolate at all. It tastes like bad milk was used. Most disgusting ever.

Coexist breakfast and pasta Ordered the coexist breakfast and pastas. Found the coexist breakfast to be worth the price, nothing special. I actually like pastas more — both were fragrant and tasty! I also tried the dirty matcha which I also loved. I love the vibes of the cafe, it was quite quiet on a Sunday lunch. Would definitely come back again!

Coexist Coffee Co.🥐 Went to Coexist Coffee Co. last week and ordered x2 of their Croissant Promo ($12.90/set before gst and svc charge)! Tried the BLT and Teriyaki Chicken Croissant with Iced White and Iced Matcha😋 Overall ratings 8/10! Food was pretty decent and the place had a nice ambience😁 For working adults, not too conducive for work meetings unless there is noise-cancelling functions on your microphone😅

Pistachio Mille Crepe Coexist Coffee Co. should not be an unfamiliar name to most at this point of time — the brand did seem to have gone through a huge a fair bit ever since our previous visit to their Lifelong Learning Institute location at Paya Lebar. Since then, Coexist Coffee Co. had moved out of their Keong Saik Road location; they had also did renovations for their Hillview location where the distinctive half red and half white decor theme of the space had been switched up for a fully grey interior decor scheme. Scrolling through social media one day, we had come across a recent post by Coexist Coffee Co. announcing the release of their line-up of Mille Crepes at both outlets; the two (2) flavours being released by Coexist Coffee Co. being the Tiramisu Mille Crepe and the Pistachio Mille Crepe. Thought that the Pistachio Mille Crepe was fairly interesting when we had first seen Coexist Coffee Co.’s announcement about the release of their Mille Crepes. Priced at $9, the Pistachio Mille Crepe from Coexist Coffee Co. is actually sized slightly larger than what we expected it to be. As we dug into the Pistachio Mille Crepe, we found the Pistachio Mille Crepe to have been better executed than most other versions served at non-commercialised establishments — one noticeable thing that we quite liked about the Pistachio Mille Crepe here was how it was tightly-packed; sufficiently so in a way that the cake still maintained its structural integrity without toppling or with the layers shifting out of position until towards the final few forkfuls left of the cake to finish. The layers of crepes in the Pistachio Mille Crepe are paper-thin; especially delicate whilst spread with pistachio-infused pastry cream that gels everything together. There is a light whiff of nuttiness amidst the lightly creamy notes of the pastry cream here, but the finely-chopped pistachio that is dusted over the surface and also the embedded within further enhances the nutty flavours of the Mille Crepe. We paired our order with the Sweet Pear Cold Brew, which is said to comprise of elements such as Sencha, Bai Mu Dan, Pear, Mango, Pineapple and Rosebuds; a cold brew tea that comes with a surprisingly strong floral aroma that helps cleanses and refresh the palate.

Grilled food! Back at Taan Asian Grill Bar! Here is what we ordered: -Grilled Mentaiko Salmon -Grilled Surume Ika Squid -Enoki Mushroom wrapped with Pork Belly in Teriyaki flavour -Japanese Eel Fried Rice The unagi fried rice is my fav carbs items here! Go to place for Frozen Yuzu Beer! Great frozen beer - thick layer of foam was almost like an ice-blend consistency. Happy hour promo of $26 for 2 glasses was pretty worth it. Yuzu recommended, lychee was quite strange. Skewers wise, we ordered the Set of 8 for $15 which was quite worth it and we were very satisfied with the taste. Pork Belly, pork ribs, chicken wings, potato slices were all good. Added on the Foil-wrapped enoki ($6.90) and we loved the garlic topping.

Takeaway Late Night Snack Shishamo and pork ribs were my fav & it’s not hard to guess why. Prawn-Wah were alittle too hard & dry. Mushrooms tend to get soggy if you’re taking away. Broccoli gets alittle mushy and oily the longer you delay. Recommend to eat fresh in-store unless you would like to avoid the BBQ smoke and loud crowd.

Good Food and Vibes Went with friends and we tried their mushroom risotto, the smoked duck pasta and andreas’! The risotto was by far my entire group’s favourite, it was creamy, tasty and delicious and it was a good thing it was shared as it can become quite heavy after a while due to the sauce. The pasta was the second best, I enjoyed the texture of the pasta and the sauce was well balanced. Comes with a perfectly runny egg and a good amount of cheese! Just wish there was more of the smoked duck as they were all chopped small and there wasn’t that many. Would personally not order the Andreas’ again though. The first thought on the dish was that it was incredibly salty! It was a stark contrast to the other 2 dishes we got… furthermore there were bits of bone in my sausage which was rather unpleasant to experience while eating. Overall it was still a good experience though it is worth noting that they no longer accept Burpple beyond’s 1 for 1 voucher for brunch/lunch items, only can use the one for mains! They accepted the mains voucher during lunch time even though it’s supposedly meant for 6-9.30pm

One for one brunch! Wanted to try this place and we ordered the Turkish eggs and chicken wraps. Love the food, good Mediterranean food. Service was good too and there was complimentary water. Paid $19.80 for the two dishes which is very reasonable. Will come back again!
