Located at Upper Thomson together with other cafes like Columbus, Habitat Coffee or One Man Coffee, Knockhouse Cafe really stands out amongst the others witht their affordable food & superb coffee. Ordered a cappuccino & matcha latte & look at how beautiful their latte art is! Their cappuccino is super fragrant and strong, just the way i like it. Their portions are huge too! The carbonara is not too creamy nor too gelat and came with lots of ingredients. Their beef burger came with such crispy and yummy fries too. The beef patty was cooked till perfection; medium rare.

Although the hawker was bustling with diners and the queues were rather long, the waiting time was super fast and buzzers were given so you need not queue up while waiting. The chicken wings ($1.40 each), pork porridge ($4) and minced meat ball noodles ($4) are a must order!! $4 meatball noodles came with 9 meatballs and their soup was flavourful; not too salty not too bland. The pork porridge had a lot of ingredients as well (you tiao, century egg, pork ball, dried squid).

$2 for 3 rice balls, $2.20 for 4 rice balls. Tried their peanut and black sesame rice balls & gosh, the skin of the rice balls is so soft & thin enough! I LOVE IT. Their almond paste soup was not overly sweet nor thick and was just nice to end off your dinner. Their peanut soup & ginger soup were great too. Definitely a must when you go to Blk 85 Bedok Food Centre!!!

Super tender wagyu beef that was cooked just nice to how i like it; medium rare. The beef melts the moment you put it inside your mouth. I love how the portion of food was not too big such that you are unable to finish it nor too small. It was the perfect portion for sharing & to try other dishes.

They gave us a complementary mentaiko scallop for each customer that dined in. The scallops were huge & fresh! They were super generous with the mentaiko sauce, which was torched till perfection

There was an ongoing promotion of 1 person dining for free when 3 people dines in during lunch time. Their salmon & sword fish was really fresh! However, their white tuna, tuna and yellow tail wasn’t of the best quality. However, their sashimi slices were all thick and fresh. Definitely worth the price if you enjoy salmon sashimi!!!

Paid $22 for 3 scoops and 2 waffles. Moreover, their waffle is much much smaller than the usual circle ones. Ordered their honey yogurt, whiskey & pecan and oat milk chocolate. Their whiskey & pecan icecream barely had any alcohol taste and the honey yogurt just tasted like sugar and milk. However, their waffles was their only saving grace. It was fluffy and the chocolate & caramel sauce was generously drizzled. But will i go back again? Probably not...

Hands down to the best croissant in sg!! Their croissant is perfect; so fluffy and buttery. And only for $3.80????! Their butter complements well with the croissant as well. It wasn’t too melted nor too hard (unlike some cafes that serve butter that doesnt melt no matter how hard you try). Their cappuccino ($5) was super super good as well. Very fragrant & not too diluted. Definitely my favourite place for a simple breakfast!

Their cappucino & flat white were great! I could really taste the fragrant coffee beans and the coffee wasn’t acidic at all. However, the food was quite disappointing. The Eggs Benedict wasn’t runny and their scrambled eggs of the Surf & Turf tasted like the ones from McDonalds. On the other hand, i really liked their clams & prawn pasta. It was really unique & reminds me of chili crab! Only worth to go with 1 for 1.

Only $26++ for both dishes! Just got to say that the portion is huge & both dishes tastes so so good! The carbonara was not overly gelat and the beef patty was super juicy and tender!! Their burger came with truffle fries which was just the way i like it. Althoughtheir cappucino is slightly on the pricey side of $7, it is really one of best i’ve had cus i could taste the beans!! 10/10 would come back again.

As good as cafe’s standard even though the prices may seem abit steep as compared to normal prices at hawker. But i love their carrot cake & chocolate bundt!!

Not bad for the price paid. The cake sponge is fluffy and loved that there was a lot of coconut shreds on top of the cake.
