It was a relaxing evening at One Prawn & Co, I had a good time the environment was peaceful and not crowded. We ordered the tobiko prawn ball & prawn and shabu sliced pork & prawn - both soup based as our mains, with Ngoh Hiang; a tasting platter fit for 2 people.

For the shabu sliced pork & prawn, I had the option to choose it dry and soup, I chose the soup and the taste of the broth was astounding! The broth was rich and savory and I highly recommend trying the soup! You can also choose the type of noodles and even mix different noodles together, for the tobiko prawn ball & prawn we chose yellow noodles & thin bee hoon and the shabu sliced pork & prawn with yellow noodles.

The flesh of the prawn was firm and fresh, and the shabu sliced pork tasted flavourful and tangy. Tobiko in the prawn ball, I could really taste the tobiko popping in my mouth. I was very hungry before I came and the serving of the prawn noodle was also generous. The Ngoh Hiang was also another dish worth to mention consist of crispy tofu, fishcakes, and many more! I also ordered a glass of warm honey lemon drink to quench my thirst.

The food here is definitely filling and comforting.

I had a pleasant time at Meadesmoore, the environment at the restaurant was quiet making it the perfect place to dine in peacefully with your friends. I have tried various dishes like the bone marrow, mac & cheese, beef heart tomato, and not forgetting the dessert; chocolate chocolate chocolate. The bone marrow was flavourful and filled with smoked hokkigai clams which helped me open my palate. The mac & cheese was delicious and filling even for 2 people that is not too overwhelming.

The beef heart tomato was juicy and sweet giving it a refreshing taste. Not to mention, the chocolate chocolate chocolate was one of the best desserts I had, it had cake, ice cream, and crumble at the bottom of the cake. Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate was really rich yet smooth in flavour the perfect way to end the meal. The service at Meadesmoore was great, the staffs were attentive and considerate to us, which made my experience even better.

Overall, I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a good ambiance and food.

It’s a splendid place to relieve your fatigue away with great ambience and yummy food!! Have ordered several dishes such as buta minced katsu, tori karage, torikawa oroshi ponzu, rosti mentai and kurobuta tontoro.
