Sum Dim Sum Queued for about an hour before we finally got a table! I can finally see what the hype is about! They serve pretty unique items like the pan fried mushroom bun, baked salted egg custard bun and steamed crispy rice roll with shrimp! The bill racked up to a whooping $63 even after using two burpple deals so it鈥檚 not v wallet friendly馃樋 However it rly serves quality food and I can tell that a lot of thought has been put into creating these dishes! This place has become one of the top dim sum places on my list and I鈥檒l be smarter in the future and make a reservation beforehand or opt for takeouts or deliveries hehe Taste: 8/10 Presentation: 7.5/10 Ambience: 7/10 (pretty small place, they should expand!!)

Crusty Liu Sha Bao I鈥檓 a sucker for liu sha bao and this rly blew my mind!! It鈥檚 the first time I鈥檝e com across liu sha bao w a crispy crust unlike the usual soft bao outer layer! The lava oozed out onto my fingers and I wasn鈥檛 fast enough to save some of the lava that dripped onto my plate. A definite must-try and one of the best liu sha baos I鈥檝e tasted in my life!

Can only redeem one Category per meal Slightly disappointed as we thought we could redeem 3 categories under Burpple Beyond (Steamed, Congee & Pan-fried) but it turns out you can only redeem one category per Beyond subscription. We chose the congee of higher value. The Salted Egg Yolk Custard Buns were really good as they spam lots of salted egg lava and the fish congee is flavorful & homely. Xiaolongbao was okay. Japanese Dumpling (though recommended on the list) was slightly underwhelming and we don't recommend it. Honey BBQ Pork Buns were not bad but might be a bit too sweet for some. Overall still worth a hearty lunch meal! Spent $31 for 2 pax with the amount pictured above + the bowl of century egg congee not featured in the image.

Fried Chicken Burger I ordered Fried Chicken Burger (non-spicy) ($5.50) and waiting time for at least 15 minutes. I didn't expected the burger to be so good in terms of the portion size and price. Fried Chicken Burger was quite crunchy and crispy at outer skin and the sauce was not much and generous to the extend. The coleslaw was complemented well with the burger and I felt the fried chicken was really fresh and not that frozen chicken. Thank you so much Hammee's for making Fried Chicken Burger out from the fresh ingredients.

Signature Beef Cheeseburger (single) [$6] This burger was fantastic! The patty was very juicy. Asked for no mayo for this, which allowed the patty to shine. The bun was buttery and fluffy. Wished there would be more cheese though!

Classic Beef Cheeseburger ($6/single patty, $8/double patty), Fried Chicken Burger ($5.50). Team 馃悇 or Team 馃悡 ? A place to check out for cheap and good burgers, just as I did to sate my burger desire. Sandwiched between the fluffy toasted buns for the cheeseburger that the boyf had were some slow caramelised onions, American cheese, chopped pickled jalape帽os, house-made sauce and of course the beef patties. Burst of beef flavour with a hint of char the moment we took a bite off the burger from their handmade beef patties, but we would have preferred it not to be well-done as it resulted in a slightly dry texture. Nevertheless, the sweet caramelised onions and melted cheese rounded the meaty taste off wonderfully with some moisture. There鈥檚 an option of original or spicy version for the fried chicken burger. I had the spicy version, which kinda reminded me of Mcspicy, but subtler. Complementing the crispy, succulent chicken thigh were a beautifully-colored house-made slaw and Hammee鈥檚 burger sauce, having a similar taste to the Thousand Island sauce. Though a spicy burger, the 馃敟 which came trailing toward the end, was quite manageable. What really captivated me were still the toasted buns with a buttery aroma which hits the sweet spot. All burgers are served with a side of paprika-seasoned fries. Waiting time was approximately 30 minutes on a Sunday afternoon.

Crossing Cafe December is a month of joy & giving. I have recently visited @crossingscafe with a few foodies, and personally what has impressed me was the cozy environment & friendly staff. Although it was raining on a Sunday afternoon, what I could felt was the love and passion from the food prepared and served. Crossings Cafe is a social enterprise which creates employment opportunities for the disadvantaged such as collaborating with students and graduates from Assumption Pathway School to intern or work at the cafe. The cafe serves yummy comfort food at affordable prices and the profits go to charity. Personally, I have enjoyed the Franciscan Burger ($19), the hand moulded beef patty is succulent, it is made from Friar John-Paul Tan OFM鈥檚 secret receipe and the burger is topped with lettuce, sliced tomatoes and smoked cheddar cheese. The signature black pepper chilli crab fettucine is also an interesting dish that one should try when visiting the cafe. The spicy level is just nice for me and the mixture of black pepper and chilli crab is an interesting combination! Do check out the cafe and enjoy a meal with your loved ones! Thank you @crossingscafe for the invitation and the warm hosting!

The cafe is a social enterprise that hires special needs employees, all whom are professional and friendly. A tip to note is to be patient and order slowly 馃檪
