This is the one for those who loves Gula Melaka. Soft layer of Gula melaka infused cake with Gula Melaka fudge.
This cake so wholesome. The grated coconut taste fresh and not overly sweet or synthetic. The gula melaka pairs very well with this soft cake.
Had craving for this sesame oil/soy sauce/ chilli padi par-boil fish skin every once in a while. Its always nice.
The Impossible Patty was tender and chewy at the same time. Goes very well with the truffle mushrooms and caramelised onion. The fries at the sides was done up exactly the way I love it.
Ordered their Original French toast and then this. The French toast was fluffy good with a good soak in their milk batter. Texture was good with their vanilla ice cream and some cookies crumbs n fruits combi. Wat beats this is their sourdough with scrambled eggs, sautéed mushrooms, fried kale n dried tomatoes. The sweetness of the fried enoki I can still remember vividly. Will go back just for this.
My goes to Biang Biang Mian despite the distance. The noodle springy texture is what lures me there again and again. Be sure to add on heaps of the oil chilli for enhanced fragrance.
Loves the porridge from here. Good n cheap. Always order the century egg porridge with sliced fish and extra youtiao. The porridge gets better with the seasame oil/sliced chilli padi sauce from the slice fish. My fav goes to comfort food.
Food was awesome needless to say free flow wine makes it better. The pork belly was good esp with the crispy n yet not oily crust and goes very well with the mustard n pickled vege. The cream artichoke was great with the bread. Beef capacious was not bad either. Nice ambience for small chats
Food was still good but the plating and serving wasn't on par as per previous visits.
Ordered the Mushroom and spinach Panini. It was Yum. The bread was legit good by itself but even better when dipped in the blasemic n olive oil.
I was nvr a fan of tiramisu but there's was awesome especially the Earl Grey. Pleasantly surprised indeed thou the price doesn't comes cheap.
Nicely plated with with Plums, hazelnut and some edible flower (which I forgets) and some herbs pesto sauce. I'll give this a miss as the burrata doesn't comes out at all for me.
$24 for this.
