Mocha: the mocha was really rich with a good amount of chocolate as well! Coffee beans used were not really acidic (which I prefer)

Papa’s ice coffee: the coffee was strong and milky and it wasn’t too sweet. The sweetness came slightly from the coffee jelly which was an interesting element added to the drink!

Generally a good place to sit and chill :)

Not a coffee connoisseur so no ratings this time

Got the supreme unagi roll and the salmon avocado roll. Both rolls were really good and they came with a generous amount of fish!

The unagi was fluffy and the salmon was plump and fresh which went really well with the avocado!!

Plus point was that the stuff were really service oriented. Which made the whole experience so enjoyable :)) Would go back again!

Ratings: 10/10 (for the sushi rolls + service)

we ordered their big breakfast, salmon mac & cheese, 2 portions of garlic butter pasta and a tiramisu.

as shown, the portion for the big breakfast is huuugggee! we couldn’t finish it, unfortunately. the tater tots & scrambled egg were the highlights of this dish — tater tots were perfectly crispy and the scrambled egg had a nice balance of butter, salt and general egg taste :•]

salmon mac & cheese was good too, the cheese pull was very satisfying, there was a nice mix of mac, salmon & broccoli and they were fairly generous with their salmon portion too! i liked that the dish was creamy enough, but not overwhelmingly salty/jelat.

garlic butter pasta had a really nice flavour at first but the dish soon became a little too salty. the flavour was there & smelt really good so i think all’s superb as long as the salt is toned down a bit.

finally, we got their tiramisu (original plus). they had to defrost the tiramisu for this flavour so it was a bit icy when we ate it. though i would’ve preferred a completely defrosted one, we gobbled it down and before we knew it, we were debating over the last bit in the bottle … XD i liked the coffee flavour and felt the finger to cream ratio was quite balanced. the fingers were full of moisture and not dry, really liked the tiramisu.

the environment was not bad and their name card is especially adorable. especially with the 2 pax limitation, the space was roomy and very comfortable. the cats paintings on the walls were very adorable too hehe

we spent a total of $50+. if not for the burpple discount, the costs would be too much. would return if not for the costs/low wallet budget of mine 🥲👍🏻

DELICIOUS!! The aroz con pollo (not sure if I’m saying it right) was like a Mexican style paella. Super flavourful and the chicken was really moist and tender! It was really hearty and the different condiments gave each spoon a different flavour!

The pork quesadilla was good too! With different sauces to go with it, it was packed with flavour and the pork was really tender. However, it had a slightly fatty taste which I’m not the biggest fan of. But overall great Mexican food :p

The service was really good but the best thing was the view :)) got to face the waterfall at jewel while having my meal was simply BEAUTIFUL.

Definitely going back again

look really good but was quite disappointed with the food :-( the mentaiko didn’t taste like mentaiko at all the the salmon was fully cooked, minced and mixed with sauces, topped with cheese then blowtorched. was actually look long forward to the mentaiko taste and aburi texture, but was met with something completely different. in addition, the cheese was flamed way too much that the torched taste was overpowering.. sobs :”-(

the sparkling citrus also has an after taste that resembles stevia of which i deem as uncomfortable.

however, the cafe ambience was not too bad, quite friendly an environment for a friend catch up! :-)

will not be giving an overall rating

As pretty as it looks, this dish was really good too. The flavours really complemented each other really well. The nutty taste of the black sesame mousse, the buttery taste of the sable tart (like a shortbread) the salty miso caramel cuts through the heavy ness of the other components.

Individual components:
The mousse was light and sesame wasn’t over powering.
The matcha sponge tho, could afford a stronger matcha taste.

Overall a really light but tasty dessert and though it’s on the pricier end, it’s usually the case for desserts like this

Great dish! The truffle taste was strong and lasted through the whole dish. The variety of mushrooms (button, shimeji, portobello and of course truffle :)) gave the dish a variety of flavours and textures. Especially enjoyed the portobello as it was thick and juicy but light yumss. The parmesan cheese added a nice nutty taste to the dish and cheese pulls! The dish wasn’t too “jelak” despite it being creamy. Great portion for one.

Only down side was that the rice was abit mushy for me. It could be chewier

Love the combi! The patty was thick, juicy and well seasoned however, there were some chunks of fat in it. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and creamy and the caramelised onions gave a nice additional flavour to the burger. The buns were buttered and toasted unlike those usual commercial tasting buns. Overall this is a good burger especially with the 1f1!

However, they have limited indoor seating so we sat outside and despite our table being sheltered, we were still partially exposed to the sun and rain :/

Food 8/10 tho but overall 7/10

*this picture doesn’t do the pizza justice but I couldn’t wait to tuck in so...
Tried 2 pizzas (meat lover and burrata) and the burrata was hands down our favourite 🤩 though there wasn’t any meat, this pizza was really worth it especially with the Burpple deal. The cheese was really creamy which balanced the acidic tomato base (the burrata cheese was the only cheese on the pizza). The pesto gave the pizza a slight herbaceous, garlic nutty taste which I love!! the slight saltiness from the cheese and I think they added additional salt gave the pizza additional flavour.

Overall well balanced dish!

However, there was a long queue. Had to wait about 30min (but it’s understandable because it was a Saturday night). it felt as if the staff were tryna chase us out tho the queue died when we were halfway through our pizzas. Might not be the best place for one to have a long more than 2h meet up instead it’s more of a short dinner date.

Would rate a high rating (9/10) for the burrata pizza since it was simple but good however due to the ambience and fast paced vibe overall

Heaven for any chocolate lover 🥰
We ordered an affogato with 75% choc and the 88% chocolate ice cream bar with the 80% chocolate.
Both the ice cream was rich and not too sweet which went really well with the sauces!

The affogato option came with coffee and some salted caramelised almonds. The coffee was more to the acidic side (I prefer bitter coffee) which brought another flavour profile to the sweet, bitter, salty dessert. Pretty interesting but acidic coffee not really my thing.

The 88% chocolate version tho. It’s very rich but it was not cloying. I love bitter less sweet chocolate and this is it. wow I would go back for that.

On a side note, the aunty that served us was so friendly! Great service !

Stumped across this cafe and was pleasantly surprised with the incredible spread of healthy food options!
The burger was quite juicy and seasoned quite well. With the addition of oats on the burger, it gave the bun a more earthy taste and a nice additional crunch. The slices of avocado gave a nice creamy flavour balancing the acidity from the jalapeño and the spiciness from the onions.
A decent burger I would say

They did their salad pretty well too! The tomatoes were sweet and which goes well with the more acidic balsamic dressing if I’m not wrong.

Nice ambience! It’s cozy and great for groups

I tried the Tropicana bowl which is a blend that contains mango banana and pineapple. This was rather basic like what you would expect for in a smoothie bowl. Not the most mind blowing but definitely yummy. If you love acai or smoothies you’ll definitely love this place. I must mention that the fruits are soaked in honey which is great for those who find Kiwis too sour and dragon fruit bland (me lol).

I would go back again with the deal because $14 for a bowl of blended fruits is a bit too pricey considering that the bowl is not that big. But great ambience! And the eating time allowance is 2hours so it’s great for a catch-up with a friend.
