Having visited Meat n Chill several times due to its convenient location and great food, my go tos are often their Mac n Cheese and Flat Iron Steak! The Mac n Cheese is full of creamy deliciousness, topped generously with mushrooms and meat, while the flat iron is always done to my preference, pairing well with the red wine sauce. The two sides that accompany the steak contribute to a full meal, always leaving me stuffed. This visit was also my first time trying the quesadillas, which were very cheesy with a generous stuffing of pulled pork. I'll definitely return yet again in the future😊

Enjoyed the oden, kani gratin, rosti mentai and the grilled squid immensely. The miso that came with the vegetables went well together, making a perfect starter. Overall, it was a great visit to Shukuu Izakaya with my date, and we would love to visit again!

Really enjoyed the snow velvet peach oolong tea! The cream was smooth and blended well with the subtle sweetness of the peach oolong! The chocolate cruffin was also very delicious!

Caught up with a friend over amazing food and drinks at TWGF!

We had the Hei Zou, Mentaiko fries, Foie Gras Lotus Leaf Rice, Roasted Pork Belly and the Choconana. Though we enjoyed every single dish, our favourites were the mentaiko fries and the Choconana dessert! The Foie Gras Lotus Leaf Rice was definitely an interesting take on a familiar dish, and it was very filling. The pork also melted in my mouth- perfectly cripsy skin with tender meat. Even after such a full meal, I still definitely had enough space for the dessert as it was so delectable, the sauce went wonderfully with the coconut ice cream and banana cake. We both had a glass of house pour rosé to go with everything; it complemented our dishes well and was very affordable.

I hope to be back soon!

Went with my brother to Fat Belly for a wonderful dinner. The onglet and mayura were both amazing, cooked perfectly medium rare. While we loved both cuts, both were very different. The onglet had a more significant char to it, while the mayura was sweeter. Both were extremely tender. The tomatoes were extremely juicy and delectable-- my brother even ate one even though he never fancied tomatoes.

Our side of truffle fries was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of truffle, however, we enjoyed the side of mushrooms more as it was moist yet crunchy at the same time. To end off the meal, we got the cheesecake, which was somehow the perfect balance of melty yet firm, going extremely well with the tart fruit sauce. I'll definitely return in the future as we enjoyed every part of the meal!

Enjoyed a cozy brunch at Elixir Boutique Roasters! The toast was made perfectly, and very filling alongside the scrambled eggs, proscuitto and argula. The proscuitto and argula went together perfectly, as did the truffle, which wasn't too overwhelming. The staff was wonderful, noting my coffee preferences, recommending a blend to go with my meal. As someone who doesn't often drink coffee, I thoroughly enjoyed what was recommended by her!

At the moment, Elixir's food and drinks are on a for tips basis, where you're able to pay as you wish for your food and drink until 2nd August. #ElixirForTips

Caught up with a friend over dinner at Teppei! The July Special, Buru Tataki Kaisen Don from Ishikawa Prefecture was delicious.
What truly stood out was the seared slices, giving the fish a unique texture on top of its freshness. At $18.80, it was well worth the price.
Additionally, I had a side of the scallop cream croquette, which was very creamy. The tonjiru soup was pleasing as it wasn't too salty. I'd definitely return in the future!
