Kyoto is known for matcha and matcha dessert that one can easily turn a corner and you'll find a place selling them. Ever popular is the Matcha Soft Serve! This one from Gion Tsujiri is very smooth with rich matcha aroma and a hint of bitterness.

Here at the original shop of Gion Tsujiri (different from the Tsujiri in Singapore) while ladies in kimono queue up 30 min for matcha parfaits.

Had the Tsujiri Tokoroten, matcha ice cream with rice dumplings, chestnut, azuki red beans and jelly noodles!

Tried several dessert cafe in Kyoto and this is my fav! Matcha Jelly, Mochi and adzuki beans 😋 It’s not too sweet as compared to other dessert cafes.
