In the past, my parents will always bring me to this shop for herbal jelly near waterloo street after our praying at the famous 四马路 temple and this has been a childhood dessert.
Moving forward to almost 20 years later, i see more of herbal jelly shops popping out along the streets. But the herbal jelly from this long-standing shop is still going strong with soild flavour!
Thought to be very good for your skin but it's much bitter than you think it is. Usually honey is added to make it more palatable.
Personally I feel that this is one of the best Gui ling Kao
