I LOVE ALL POKE AND a poke theory never fails to disappoint :”) salmon was thick and juicy, coupled with generous servings of toppings - the sauces were misses for me though (tried a few and haven’t really found one that I really like)!

Had the salmon mentaiko bowls with quinoa and brown rice and the salmon was really good and fresh! Loved how fresh the ingredients were (the cherry tomatoes were so sweet and crunchy) and how everything came together so well, healthy and tasty is a good combination indeed.

Don’t take raw fish so got the sous vide chicken poke (~$12.30 via GrabFood), chicken was pretty tasty but got abit repetitive bc there wasn’t a distinct taste to it. Was nice that I could choose the toppings I wanted and didn’t for a standard price!

Portion wasn’t a lot actual but I was still full

7/10

Taste: seasoning if salmon was slightly bland. Ordered the original shoyu salmon ($12.90). Felt that it lacked the oomph factor. Veggies were fresh and crunchy and pineapples sweet and juicy. Sushi rice was well seasoned

Value for money: i would say its not a very sustainable idea to have it regularly as it is pricey for the ingredients they use. Nevertheless, some healthier option once in a while wont hurt:)

Summary: might visit again. But would like to try other poke bowl shops first

Stuffed with ingredients for about $12-$17 depending on the size you choose and there are 10 toppings you can choose from other than the fish itself. They are super generous with the ingredients and there’s never a mouthful of rice that’s on its own. I would recommend getting the original shoyu sashimi though as it won’t mask the freshness of the fish as much as the other sauces. The avocado miso that I ordered was quite rich but lacked the savory miso flavor that I was expecting and also had a slight bitter note at the end. The other toppings are mostly quite refreshing and added nice texture to the rice bowl but I wasn’t fan of the wakame seaweed.
