Looking for some sweet tooth in E!Hub Downtown East? Head over to this place for some ice cream!

They used to be at Changi Village before moving here and run as a kiosk now. There’s many option for their ice cream flavours.

While you could just grab their ice cream in cup like me. They also serve them in cone or waffle as well. $4.50 (deluxe single scoop)

4⭐ We didn't intend to eat ice cream. WB comment that their ice cream cone looks good when we passed by the ice cream shop so we decided to give it a try. I asked for the most popular flavour which is salted caramel. This is surprisingly good with small chunks of caramel. WB finds the shop name too difficult to remember. I ponder if they can come up with a better name bcos A spoonful of Sugar is not = a scoop of ice cream. 🤣

Got the crispy waffles with 2 scoops of ice cream: cookies & cream and milk chocolate. The milk chocolate ice cream was really good. Rich chocolate with a velvety smooth texture.

Used to patronise this store when they were at Changi Village, but they have since reopened at Downtown East.
P.S. Students get 20% off, and anyone can get a free cone (worth $1) with any ice cream scoop order.

Price: $4.90 for waffles, $7.50 for waffles with 1 scoop, $10 for waffles with 2 scoops

A layered dessert with a vanilla cake base, chocolate sauce, Oreo crunch, a scoop of ice cream and crushed Oreo topping.

Love the mix of warm chocolate sauce and dense vanilla cake at the bottom and the contrasting ice cold scoop of ice cream all in one cup. You technically have a choice of ice cream flavours, but I didn’t specify and ended up with the default vanilla which was a pretty good combination with Oreo and chocolate. It requires a little manoeuvring to get all the layers in one spoonful but it’s worth it. Creamy, crunchy, cakey, chocolatey, warm and cold, it’s an all in one dessert served in just one cup for maximum convenience.

*A Spoonful Of Sugar is a halal eatery and also FavePay/GrabPay friendly!

Can you imagine how great to have different kinds of cheese on your waffle? Caramelised sweet bananas on the other waffle? With waffle that has just right crisp and chewiness? With a scoop of salty caramel ice cream with some nuts in it served in a heart-shaped bowl? Truly a TGIF for me! 💕

I have been craving for thai milk tea icecream for weeks. It was so intensed that I was so motivated to take a bus all the way to Changi Village to get my cravings fix. Thanks D for being such an awesome companion (forcing me to run just so that we can catch the bus and save us from waiting an extra 15minutes for the next one). What we ordered:
Z: 1 × lavender + 1 × thai milk tea flavored icecream = S$ 6.50
D: 1 × avocado chocolate + 1 × salted caramel icecream = S$ 6.50

Total Paid = S$ 13
