The hojicha latte ($5) was so fragrant I could smell it when it was brought to me. It has a really strong hojicha flavour and it was rather sweet too.
Initially came for their sweet potato latte which looks delightful but it wasn't available 😩 I ended up getting an iced mocha which was quite good but a bit too sweet for my liking. A generous serving of chocolate was given and it was of a good quality too!
Anyway, congrats to Renfred & Abbie to the opening of their new place at Havelock II.
I seldom hear Chinese songs being played in cafes already, please do so occasionally.
My recommendations here would be the filtered coffee and sweet potato latte.
If you find Renfred familiar, he used to be from Campus Superstar and acted in some shows. All grow up already.

A very well-executed cuppa here using a blend of Colombian and Guatemalan beans — the Flat White was smooth and creamy, while being light-bodied and carried a nutty flavour profile with a clean finish.
From Slayer Coffee; the mobile coffee cart co-founded by Campus Superstar alumnus Renfred Ng finally has a brick-and-mortar space located at Havelock II.
Opted for the set where the cake and coffee is bundled at $15 — the cake itself was a whole cake that is definitely bigger than a single slice alone; probably quite suitably sized for a small birthday celebration. It's a New York style Cheesecake that is pretty smooth and rich in flavour; the Matcha-Infusion doesn't overwhelm but adds a hint of roasty and aromatic green tea flavour that lingers at the end of every morsel. The graham cracker at the base gives the cake a different dimension of flavour and texture overall as well.
