Learnt how to make my own freshly baked Vietnamese Baguette ๐ฅ thatโs just the right amount of crispiness. The Lemongrass Chicken patty paired pretty nicely with the pickled salad too ๐คค

Made 6 of these daifukus that have a matcha bean paste and yuzu cream filling, kanten jelly on top + a fancy sprinkle of gold flakes - all done during the fun ABC Cooking Studioโs Matcha Jade Mochi wagashi class. Turned out very well except it was a touch sweeter than Iโd like. Enjoyed the variety of flavours here that didnโt overpower each other!

Happy to have gotten a chance to learn how to make macarons. While it wasn't easy as there were so many steps involved but glad that it turns out okie. Need to find time and practice at home now!!

Class tonight was conducted by Jamie-sensei, and am happy to have a baking session with my secondary school friends. The matcha poundcake mixed with sweet black beans, is light and fluffy plus there's a bit of nutty taste as you bite into it.
