Tried Chengji, 成记 (Stall 24) with their Pork Leg Bee Hoon ($5). Its fragrantly whipped together though I also realise its with my fave canned pork trotters - that familiar and comforting taste... Lime and chilli sauce recommended!

Also had the carrot cake from Stall 22 Hokkien Mee, crisp yet moist with a strong radish taste, felt like we didn't have enough!

Taste: Fish soup without Milk. Healthy alternative as compared to milk. Soup base is normal and amount of ingredients are quite substantial.

Atmosphere: Very crowded during lunch and dinner time. Limited seating space.

Service: Staff was very friendly and prompt to response. Food was served within 10 minutes.

Price: ~$4

I Ordered the "Royal Rumble" which consists of chicken wing, fried fish, Ikan Bilis, Begedil and Otah. For that many foods on my plate, it only costs $5.90. Basmati rice is used instead of the usual white rice. Fluffy and light with pandan fragrance.

Big Man Nasi Lemak at $4.00 fluffy rice, deep fried wing, tempeh, egg, anchovies, and cucumber.
Tasty chilli sauce to blend everything together.

The queue is normally long during lunch hour. Today, there wasn't really a queue... Probably because it is the Ramadan period now.

Their mee rebus is one of the best I had. Amazing!

Generous serving of yellow noodles which are perfectly cooked; springy noodles.

Gravy was richly flavoured and aromatic! The texture of the gravy was thick and it coats everything; from the noodles to the hard-boiled egg and even the beansprouts!

I read online that the key is their rich gloopy gravy is the low-and-slow cooking of their gravy, using a mixture of soybean, mutton, along with a well-balanced rempah (spice paste).

Warong Pak Sapari is also well-known for their mee soto! I'm going to try that next time!
