The Ganache was quite dense, which i feedbacked and they said they will look into it

Tldr main was good(the other option, Char siew quail sounds delicious as well), the rest of the power Lunch were average. Ala Carte nice as well

I was just watching thomas keller preparing a dover sole on master class on the way here and was super pleased to Find out that today's Fish was dover sole. Finally got around to trying this royalty of fishes and i can definitely see why. They werent kidding when they said it has a meaty texture, in fact the texture is close to chicken. Absolutely delicious and i certainly hope it's not my last time having this Fish. Now turbot is the only one on my wishlist >

With pimiento and a mild cheese inside, apart from the king crab meat which was incredibly sweet and melts in your mouth. Im not exaggerating when i say u can barely differentiate between the texture of the Cheese and the crab, they just meld tgt so well. (P. S. at the same time i also realised that surimi is pretty darn close to the real thing actually). For a dish with such a luxurious ingredient, the taste was actl rlly comforting and dare i say, rustic almost but in a really good way. Might not be something you expect, but it definitely is delicious

Ooo. The Sourdough was really soft and chewy, kinda unexpected in texture but wow the miso sauce was sweet and complex. Tho the miso taste wasnt very strong at all, it's really lovely

How stupid of me to assume it's an asian style of tossed Jellyfish just because of the asian influences in his restaurant. Ofc salt and pepper means Fried. Surprisingly after frying the texture of Jellyfish is completely gone, u can only taste the crispy batter. I liked the yuzu kosho mayo tho.

P. S. Gotta be honest tho, for a restaurant of such calibre, with the quality of mains they're serving, the portion is definitely gonna be controlled. So it's no wonder both of the Starter are basically fillers, not that it's not good. If i wasnt intending on getting the king crab Melt i would probably got the salmon toast instead(probably very similar)

Adrift offers $19 set lunch which come with starter, main and dessert. The menu changes frequently. I went a few time to try different set lunch. Good place for business lunch with pocket friendly price.
