We ordered two bowls of porridges; century egg sliced fish porridge ($5.50) and century egg lean meat porridge ($5.50). We also ordered Kai Lan ($7).

The consistency of porridge was good but it was a bit bland for our taste. Add more sauce if you like. Kai Lan was fantastic and the garlic brings out the flavour of the vegetables.

PRICE:
Century egg mixed intestines porridge with egg $7.50
Mixed intestines porridge with egg $4.50
YouTiao $1
Fried ngor hiang $5
Canned drink $1.50

WAITING TIME: Went at 9pm on a Monday. Queued for 6 minutes, waited another 18 minutes for everything to arrive to the table

REMARKS:
- Fried YouTiao were lao hong already. Not crispy, not soft - awkward to eat it by itself cos it was too chewy
- Century egg mixed intestines porridge with egg had too much sliced ginger in it
- The liver was cooked just right. Not too tough, not overcooked.
- Like the texture and consistency of the porridge
- But...still prefer Sin Heng Kee porridge in general.

It’s now become a barely decent bowl, which you probably wouldn’t even know was supposed to be cooked over charcoal after tasting it. Such a shame, but good thing there’s Sin Heng Kee.

Comprises sliced pork and minced pork. Abject failure. It baffles me how a famous brand can produce such tasteless food. It was only lifted by the soya sauce and egg yolk.

!!!! was a rainy night and was craving some porridge. There was a long queue at 7pm and i had the abalone fish porridge and it was slightly watery as compared to other days but love how flavorful it was!!! Fried dough fritters were sold at $1 and century egg ($1.60) cheap cheap

We like the version of meat balls with pork liver. This set with soya bean drinks and preserve eggs is around $10.

Parking available at the URA lots around the shop.
