They let them rest in baskets submerged in the kelong for a day or two to let them purge the sand. So if you buy the Lala or Mussels from them, you don’t need to ‘purge sand’ anymore. Vid2: Pink IC flower crabs. I think they are too much trouble to eat over nothing. My Wife loves them tho. Apparently pink IC mussels are absolutely tasty too, comparable to the more expensive NZ ones that many places sell. Let them purge sand first! Vid3: these lobsters we were told are not for sale. They are ‘working lobsters’. They are there to eat and break up the built up of calcium of the many marine mollusks etc! These are not Maine lobsters and they also don’t main main. They kerja kerja! 😂 Vid4: happy healthy fish that goes round and round. Their version of the wheels on the bus go round and round? Don’t they feel giddy? The nets at the kelong are washed (spray jet) weekly too! What hard work!
