Indescribable!!! In Singapore we forget what fresh seafood from the sea really tastes like! Ladies and gentleman...THIS IS IT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SEABASS!

Was pretty excited when I chanced upon Ah Hua Kelong at Bedok Marketplace having read about them a few times. With fish, live mussels, cockles and the sort in their large tanks, you can be sure that everything's fresh as it can be. 🐟

Recommended by their lady boss, we got one whole fish at only $19 and their live mussels which were all then char grilled. 🔥

As they claimed, everything was fresh and clean. The mussels were sweet and briny, unlike the usually tasteless kinds you get in Singapore. The fish was divine as well, sparking a chopstick war among the Neo family 😝

Now you can at Ah Hua Kelong at The Bedok Marketplace. At $19, the Charcoal Grilled Seabass is very affordable for an entire piece of fish, served with their handmade sambal, chinchalok and homemade preserved vegetables. All I need now is a bowl of rice porridge to go along with this.

Caught in their own kelong, the sea bass had firm, juicy flesh, without any ‘fishiness’ to it at all. Best paired with the sambal dip served on the side, for a good chilli kick to add to the flavour.
