Springy noodles doused in a delicious mix of chilli, vinegar, and lard oil + fresh fish balls + silky dumplings. This was great!!! One thing to note, though, is that this stall opens/ closes randomly. But I guess it makes this an even more special meal heh

Only open on Saturday and Sunday from 7:30am to 2:30pm. One thing I love about this is their salted fish and the soup. $5 or $6.

Old school bak chor mee that has the fragrance of quality black vinegar when it's served. Tell the stall owners if you prefer less or no vinegar. Fresh and tasty ingredients plus the well mixed mee make the dish very yummy. The elderly couple opens their stall only on the weekends and may retire when they're not up to it. Go try an authentic BCM before it disappears. Posted by Ah Leong San. 2016 December 3.

Years of aged mushroom sauce was the key of this delicious bowl of Bak Cho Mee. It amplified the meaty flavor without adding additional heaviness. Usually they sold out by 2pm. Not a bad eat for a bowl of $5.

This is a very old school meal dished out by an elderly man who can retire anytime but choose to carry on as he loves to cook. Opens only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the queue can be long but worth the wait. Go try it before this elderly couple calls it a day.

This Bak Chor Mee Stall used to be at Hill Street Food Centre which no longer Exist anymore. This Bak Chor Mee Stall Establishes Since 1945 at Hill Street Hawker. For me i order the bak giao aka dumpling. The stall owner handmade himself with wonton skin some fresh minced pork. One thing abt the soup is that the soup is super bland. when order the soup version of bak chor mee the stall added some braised mushroom so that the soup is more tastier. If u eat the dry version the soup is bland. Depend on People Preference but for me i will still prefer the teochew st minced pork noodle at Smith St Chinatown Market & Food Centre. Stall Name:Ah Kow Mushroom Minced Pork Noodle. Address: Blk 531A Upper Cross Street #02-43 Hong Lim Food Centre Singapore 051531. Operating Hours:0830-1530 Thurs to Sunday Closed on Mon to Wed.
