I’m so glad to finally be able to dining at my favourite hawker stalls.
One of my favourites, is the famous shredded chicken hor fun from Ah Liang Ipoh Hor Fun. The sauce is light with a tinge of a herbal taste that goes well with the silky smooth flat rice noodles. Also, ordering their plump fried fish nuggets is a must!
My friend introduced this to me and I was instantly sold! Every component was delicious: the plump fried fish dumpling is served hot with a bouncy filling (with crunchy radish providing textural variation), and was delightfully crispy. The herbal sauce + sesame oil with the silky smooth horfun was full of flavour, yet gentle and clean-tasting. Also, the green chilli here is super sour and right my alley!
My friend managed to phrase the order in a way that makes it $4.50, but I’m not sure how! When I tried to replicate this order I ended up paying $3.50 (chicken horfun) + $2.30 (fish dumplings) :p
P.s. their stall at amoy usually has a shorter queue compared to their stall at interim!
Back to Amoy Street again to satisfy my fish dumplings craving!

♡ Fish dumplings with plump fillings and crispy skin
☆ $3.50 (hor fun with 3 dumplings), there's option to add more dumplings ala carte
Super smooth and silky hor fun with freshly fried fish dumplings. YUMMYYY
Trying the shredded chk noodles instead of the usual hor fun. Not bad but will stick w the hor fun. Never forgetting to get a portion of the fish dumplings at 4 for 3$. For the noodles it was 3.50$ for the smaller portion
Been eating their horfun for the longest time and only recently did I notice they have a dry version. The noodles were more soft/nua than it was chewy but I’m okay with that. Simple lunch fuel but might not be filling for those with bigger appetite.
