hakka tofu bowl and hakka fried chicken bowl ($7.80 each) comes w/ free cup of green tea

hakka tofu bowl was quite nice?? esp the french beans (I THINK) but not very filling considering the price 😩 must be the cbd area

I was pleasantly surprised that the pancake was overall more salty/savoury than sweet. Unfortunately none of the pancakes are fresh and microwaved pancakes just aren't as crisp as those just out of the pan. As a result, the pancake was rather tough and rubbery.

If there’s anything I’d love to sink my teeth into every morning - it has got to be the pancakes from ah lock .

Light , spongy , with a fragrant eggy aroma and thin crisp sides - I hope the standards stay as such forever .

Get it in a set with 2 soft boiled eggs and a hot drink of your choice .

Back at ah lock for my usual dose of charcoal peanut pancake .

Fluffy with a good bite but not too dense or doughy - and a sandy nice peanut crunch that’s not too sweet . The filing used to be more peanut-ty but it’s a little wetter now - tasting more like peanut butter .

Still nice ! I love those crispy parts at the sides .

$7.8 (+$1 for brown rice; +$2.1 to make it a set with a Min Jiang Kueh + drink). Tried this for the first time the other day and it was good! Liked that it contained quite a lot of veggies & the sauces they put complement the food well. Was filling too.

I am not a Thunder Tea rice fan (or rather not knowing how to appreciate the soup) but this modern version at Ah Lock is approved! I love the fried meatballs, reminds me of the Lucky Plaza YTF stall.
