Ah Long Pancake (Boon Lay Shopping Centre)

Stand by the side as you watch the auntie skilfully whet your appetite with the eggy fragrance, before sprinkling the ingredients on top. Think of it as an open-faced mr bean, loaded with simple goodness. The pancake dough is thin, just right to complement the savoury goodness atop. There’re plenty of flavour combis available, including sweet pancakes and I can’t wait to try them all!

Not seasoned otherwise except for the tuna(which was mixed into the batter), it lacks seasoning so do ask for extra tuna and follow the suggestion of the staff to heap on sambal as well. Already v hearty, im sure it's gonna get so much better with extra seasoning

Feel free to come up with your own combination tho, you dont have to follow the menu exactly.

The red bean oozes out and the Pancake was crispy on the exterior. Be sure to have it hot though as it will lose its crisp. I was under the impression that the Corn will come in the form of kernels, but it was actl the form of the sauce that goes on top of ur ice Kacang. Not what i hoped for sigh.

Take note if u order with egg, it's beaten into the bottom of the batter so it's not exactly what u expect in taste, rather it changes the texture of the batter.

This shop is part of a koptiam. Has lots of different variety of pancakes for you to choose from. Ended up trying a safe flavour because we needed some stomach space for breakfast round 2 and 3 😂 I had high expectations and the pancake did not disappoint. Will come back to try the pancake with cai po and carrot.

love!! this!! place!! you've got to try their pancakes!! rly yummy and crispy. they have many different flavours and my fav combi is the peanut and cheese ($1.60) bc it's sweet and salty simultaneously ahhh. the chicken patty + egg + cheese ($3) was interesting and would make a good breakfast choice.
